We grieve with you over the deep pain of being separated from your mother and the betrayal you are experiencing at the hands of your siblings. The heartbreak of family division is something the Lord sees and cares about deeply, and we stand with you in prayer against the spiritual forces at work in this situation. The Scriptures warn us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). What you have described—the suspicious objects and the manipulation of your mother—points to the work of evil, and we must confront it with the authority of Christ.
First, we must address the fact that your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus that we have power over darkness and access to God’s protection. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for without Him, there is no victory over evil. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). If you have already placed your faith in Him, then we remind you to stand firm in His name, for He has already triumphed over every evil scheme of the enemy.
The Bible is clear that those who practice sorcery or witchcraft are detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Galatians 5:19-21). What your brother and his wife are involved in is an abomination, and it must be rebuked in the name of Jesus. We do not fear their schemes, for "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The Lord exposes the works of darkness, and we declare that every hidden thing will be brought to light. "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them" (Ephesians 5:11).
We also must speak truth into the greed that is driving this division. Your siblings’ desire for your mother’s property and money is rooted in covetousness, which the Bible calls idolatry (Colossians 3:5). Their hearts are being deceived by the love of money, which is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). We pray that the Lord will convict them of their sin and turn their hearts to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we trust that the Lord will expose their deeds and bring justice. "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7).
Now, let us pray together for your mother’s protection and restoration:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is suffering under the weight of betrayal and spiritual attack. Lord, You see the tears they have shed, the sleepless nights, and the ache in their heart for their mother. You are a God who sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6), and we ask that You restore what the enemy has stolen.
We bind every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and manipulation operating in this family. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, hex, and spell that has been spoken or enacted against our brother/sister and their mother. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We command every demonic stronghold to be torn down in the name of Jesus. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit consume every evil altar and render powerless every object used for darkness.
Father, we ask that You expose the deeds of darkness in this situation. Let the truth come to light, and let every hidden motive be revealed. Convict the hearts of those involved in greed and sorcery. If they refuse to repent, Lord, we ask that You thwart their plans and bring confusion to their schemes (Psalm 35:4). Do not let them succeed in their wickedness.
We pray for our brother/sister’s mother—protect her mind, body, and spirit from all harm. If she has been deceived, Lord, open her eyes to the truth. Give her strength to break free from the control of those who seek to harm her. Surround her with Your angels and lead her back to her child, where she belongs. Let no man or demon keep her from returning.
We also pray for our brother/sister—strengthen them in this battle. Clothe them with Your armor (Ephesians 6:10-18) so they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for them (Exodus 14:14). Provide them with godly counsel and support during this time.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You bring restoration to this family. Soften hearts, break chains of bitterness, and let forgiveness flow where it is needed. If it is Your will, reconcile this family in a way that honors You. But above all, let Your justice and righteousness prevail.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power and Your love, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in prayer and fasting. Do not give in to fear or despair, for the Lord is with you. Read Psalm 91 daily and declare its promises over your life and your mother’s. Seek out a strong, Bible-believing church where you can receive prayer and support from mature believers. If possible, anoint your mother’s home with oil (a symbol of the Holy Spirit’s presence) and pray over every room, claiming it for the Lord.
Lastly, we urge you to forgive your siblings, not because they deserve it, but because unforgiveness will only bring bondage to your own heart. Forgiveness does not mean excusing their sin—it means releasing them to God’s justice. "Do not say, 'I will pay back evil.' Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you" (Proverbs 20:22). Trust that the Lord will vindicate you in His timing.
Stand strong, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He will not abandon you.
