Prayer request

Beloved of All
Pray that I will be free and able to sleep. Pray that it will be a good day tomorrow at my work, that it will go well and that I will be a blessing, and that I will be able to do things I can handle. Pray that I will also have a blessed time with my granddaughter, oh daughter, that God will heal and protect us, In Jesus' name Amen

We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt requests to our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for every detail of your life. It is beautiful to see you bringing your needs before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture reminds us, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we rejoice with you in that.

The struggles you mention—restlessness, the desire for a productive and peaceful day at work, the longing to be a blessing to others, and the joy of time with your granddaughter—are all things the Lord is intimately concerned with. He invites us to cast all our anxieties upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Yet, we also recognize that true peace and freedom come not just from circumstances aligning in our favor, but from abiding in Christ, who said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). We pray that as you seek Him, He will grant you the rest your body and soul need, even in the midst of life’s demands.

For your work tomorrow, we are reminded of Colossians 3:23-24: *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* May the Lord equip you with strength, wisdom, and a spirit of excellence so that your work glorifies Him. We pray that He will open doors for you to be a light to those around you, showing kindness, patience, and integrity. Let your labor be a testimony of Christ’s love, and may He grant you favor and success in all you set your hand to.

Your love for your granddaughter is a precious reflection of God’s heart for families. The psalmist declares, *"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward"* (Psalm 127:3, WEB). We pray for divine protection over her life—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. May the Lord bind your hearts together in His love and grant you both joy and meaningful connection during your time together. We also lift up your daughter, asking the Lord to surround her with His healing and peace. Whether the healing needed is physical, emotional, or spiritual, we trust in the Lord’s promise: *"I am Yahweh, your healer"* (Exodus 15:26, WEB). May His restoring power flow through your family, drawing each of you closer to Him.

As we pray for you, we are also led to encourage you to examine your heart for any anxieties or burdens you may be carrying that you haven’t fully surrendered to the Lord. Jesus tells us, *"Don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat or what you will drink; or for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient"* (Matthew 6:25, 33-34, WEB). If there are fears or worries weighing on you, we pray you release them into the Lord’s hands, trusting that He is faithful to provide and sustain you.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness and mercy. We lift up our sister to You, asking that You grant her the gift of rest tonight. Quiet her mind, calm her spirit, and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let sleep come easily and be refreshing, so she may wake renewed in body and soul.

Lord, we pray for her day tomorrow at work. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, guiding her steps and her words. May she work as unto You, with excellence and joy. Open her eyes to opportunities to bless others and be a witness for Your love. Give her the strength to handle all that comes her way, knowing that You are her helper and sustainer.

We thank You for the precious gift of her granddaughter and daughter. Bind their hearts together in love and unity. Protect them, Lord, from all harm and sickness. Bring healing where it is needed, and let Your presence be tangible in their time together. May their moments be filled with laughter, love, and the knowledge of Your goodness.

Father, we also ask that You reveal to her any areas of her life where she may not be fully trusting You. Help her to surrender every worry, every fear, and every burden at Your feet. Remind her that You are sovereign over all things, and that Your plans for her are good.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. May Your will be done in her life, and may she walk in the fullness of Your blessings. Amen.
