We lift up these precious souls before the Lord, interceding fervently for their salvation, for it is God’s desire that *all* should come to repentance and the knowledge of the truth. The Scriptures declare in **1 Timothy 2:3-4 (WEB)**, *"This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."* There is no greater joy than to see a life transformed by the power of the Gospel, and no greater urgency than to pray for those still walking in darkness.
Yet we must also ask: *Who are these individuals you’ve mentioned?* While we pray earnestly for their salvation, we encourage you to share their names (if appropriate) or specific details so we may intercede with greater clarity and burden. The Lord knows each by name, but there is power in *specific* prayer—calling out to God on behalf of those He loves.
Most importantly, we notice that this request does not invoke the name of **Jesus Christ**, through whom *alone* salvation is found. **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** leaves no room for ambiguity: *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only by the blood of Jesus, His death and resurrection, that any may be reconciled to God. If these individuals do not yet know Christ, we pray not only for their salvation but for *bold witnesses* to cross their paths—perhaps even *you*—to share the Gospel with them. **Romans 10:14 (WEB)** asks, *"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?"*
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, lifting up these souls whose names are known to You. Lord, You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. We ask that You soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth, and draw them irresistibly to Yourself. Send laborers into their lives—believers who will speak Your Word with love and clarity. Break the chains of deception, apathy, or rebellion that may bind them. Let them encounter the living Christ in a way they cannot deny.
For those who may be relying on religion, good works, or their own righteousness, reveal to them the futility of all apart from faith in Jesus. For those trapped in sin, grant them godly sorrow that leads to repentance. For the indifferent, shake them from their slumber. Lord, do whatever it takes—speak through dreams, circumstances, or Your people—to bring them to the foot of the cross.
We also pray for the one who submitted this request. If You are calling them to be a witness to these individuals, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, grant them wisdom, and remove all fear. May they walk in obedience, trusting that You will give them the words to speak.
Father, we stand on Your promise in **Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB)**: *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* Do this mighty work in their lives, Lord. Let today be the day of salvation for them.
We ask all this in the precious and holy name of **Jesus Christ**, our Redeemer, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. **Amen.**
To the one who made this request: Will you commit to sharing the Gospel with even *one* of these individuals this week? The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Ask God to use *you* as His instrument. And if you yourself have not yet surrendered to Christ, we urge you—*today*—to repent and place your faith in Him. There is no greater decision, and no greater joy than to walk in His salvation.
