The fraud that has struck your family is a painful trial, but we encourage you to cling to the promise that our God is sovereign over all things—even the schemes of the enemy. The Lord sees what has been done in secret, and He will bring justice in His perfect timing. Do not let bitterness or fear take root in your heart, for the Scripture reminds us in Romans 8:28, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* This does not mean the harm done was good, but that God will use even this for His glory and your ultimate good if you trust Him.
As for your request for rest and peace, we urge you to cast your anxieties upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Jesus Himself said in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* True rest is found in surrendering your worries to Him, trusting that He will provide, protect, and restore what has been stolen.
