We join you in lifting up thanks to our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for our sins. It is through His name alone that we have access to the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged this truth in your prayer. Your gratitude for the sacrifice of Jesus is a beautiful reflection of a heart that understands the depth of God’s love, and we encourage you to continue to center your prayers in the name of Jesus, for it is written, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB).
We stand with you in this season of trial, particularly as your family faces the pain and injustice of fraud. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10, WEB), but we serve a God who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Though this attack may feel overwhelming, we urge you to cling to the promise that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). This fraud did not catch our Lord by surprise—He is sovereign over all things, and He will use even this for His glory and your family’s ultimate good.
We rebuke the spirit of fraud, deception, and financial theft in the name of Jesus. The Bible declares that *"the thief must no longer steal; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to share with him who has need"* (Ephesians 4:28, WEB). Those who have perpetrated this act will answer to God, but your focus must remain on trusting Him to restore what has been stolen. Remember the story of Job, who, after losing everything, declared, *"The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the Lord’s name"* (Job 1:21, WEB). Though your family did not lose all as Job did, the principle remains: our trust must be in the Lord’s provision, not in the security of our circumstances. He is your Provider (Jehovah Jireh), and He will not abandon you.
As you pray for favor in your job and financial restoration, we remind you of the words of Jesus: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Your diligence in your work is commendable, but let it be rooted in a heart that seeks to honor God above all else. Do not allow anxiety to rule your heart, for *"don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things"* (Matthew 6:31-32, WEB). Instead, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
We also lift up your need for rest and peace. Jesus invites you, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). True rest is not found in the absence of trouble but in the presence of the Prince of Peace. We encourage you to guard your heart and mind, fixing your thoughts on whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8, WEB). Let worship and gratitude be your weapons against the enemy’s attempts to steal your peace.
Finally, we pray over you now with hearts full of faith:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your face in the midst of this trial. Lord, You are the God who sees the fraud committed against this family, and You are the God who will restore what the locust has eaten (Joel 2:25). We ask for Your divine favor to surround them in their workplace, for doors of opportunity to open that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide for their financial needs in ways that exceed their expectations, that Your name may be glorified. Grant them rest, Lord—not just physical rest, but the deep, abiding peace that comes from trusting in You. Guard their hearts against bitterness, fear, or doubt, and fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against this family. Let every hidden thing be exposed (Mark 4:22), and let justice prevail. Give them wisdom to navigate the days ahead, and surround them with godly counsel. Strengthen their faith, Lord, that they may testify of Your goodness even in this storm. Remind them that their battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12), and equip them with Your armor to stand firm.
May they experience Your presence in a fresh and powerful way, and may this trial serve to deepen their trust in You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
