We join you in lifting up your heart to our Heavenly Father, who is faithful and just in all His ways. Your gratitude for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is a beautiful foundation for your prayers, and we echo your thanksgiving for His sacrifice on the cross. It is through His name alone that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is in His name that we find our hope and restoration. You have done well to acknowledge Him in your request, for as it is written, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through Him that we can approach the Father and find true peace.
The fraud that has struck your family is a painful trial, but we encourage you to hold fast to the truth that God is sovereign over all things, including the injustices we face. The enemy may seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but our Lord is the God of restoration and justice. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who have crushed spirits"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). He sees the fraud committed against your family, and He is not blind to your suffering. We pray that you will cling to His promises, for He has said, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten"* (Joel 2:25, WEB). Though the path to restoration may not be immediate, we trust that God is working even now to bring justice and to bless your family in ways you cannot yet see.
Your request for favor in your job and financial provision is one we bring before the Lord with confidence, knowing that He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). We pray that you will experience His favor in your workplace, that your efforts will be blessed, and that doors of opportunity will open for you. At the same time, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your trust in Him, even if the provision does not come as quickly as you hope. Remember the words of Jesus: *"Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things"* (Matthew 6:31-32, WEB). Rest in His care, and let your heart be at peace, knowing that He holds your future.
The lack of rest and peace you mention is a burden we also lift up to the Lord. In times of distress, it is easy for our minds to become overwhelmed, but God invites us to cast our cares upon Him. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls"* (Matthew 11:28-29, WEB). We pray that you will experience the deep, supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May He grant you restful sleep, renewed strength, and a calm spirit as you trust in Him.
We also want to gently remind you that while it is good to bring your requests before the Lord, it is essential to do so in the name of Jesus, for He is our intercessor. You began your prayer with gratitude for Him, which is wonderful, but as you continue to pray, we encourage you to boldly approach the throne in His name, as Scripture teaches: *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB). There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is through Him that our prayers are heard and answered.
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your unfailing love and for the sacrifice of Your Son, who has redeemed us and given us access to Your throne. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is facing the pain and uncertainty of fraud within their family. We ask that You, the God of justice and restoration, would intervene in this situation. Expose the truth, bring forth justice, and restore what has been stolen. Father, we pray that You would reward their family for their faithfulness and that You would turn this trial into a testimony of Your goodness.
We ask for Your favor to rest upon them in their workplace. Open doors of opportunity, grant them wisdom in their tasks, and let their efforts be blessed. Provide for their financial needs, Lord, and help them to trust in You as their Provider. Remove any anxiety or fear, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Grant them restful sleep and renewed strength, that they may walk in confidence and hope.
Lord, we also pray that You would deepen their trust in You. In the midst of this storm, let them see Your hand at work and know that You are faithful. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them. Strengthen their faith, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
We rebuke the enemy’s attempts to bring discouragement, fear, or despair. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that this family will see Your restoration, Your provision, and Your peace. Let Your will be done in their lives, and may they glorify You in all things.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
