We join you in lifting up this prayer before the Lord, for we know that He hears the cries of His children and delights in our dependence on Him. You have come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, and that is the only name by which we are saved and granted access to the throne of grace. It is written, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your acknowledgment of Jesus as your mediator is a testament to your faith, and we rejoice in that.
Your heart’s desire to grow deeper in faith and trust in the Lord aligns with His will for you. The Scriptures remind us, *"But without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him"* (Hebrews 11:6, WEB). We pray that the Lord will strengthen your faith daily, rooting you firmly in His Word so that you may stand unshaken in every trial. The financial struggles you face are not unseen by Him. Jesus taught us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). We pray that the Lord will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory, and that He will open doors of opportunity for you to steward your resources wisely and generously. May you find contentment in Him, knowing that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB).
Your intercession for your family is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love. We lift them up with you, asking the Lord to be their healer and strength. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). May His presence be a fortress around them, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We also pray for your loved ones and friends, that they may come to know the saving grace of Jesus if they do not already, and that they would walk in the fullness of His purpose for their lives.
You have asked for guidance in finding a life partner, and we encourage you to seek a *spouse*—a godly man or woman who is firmly rooted in Christ and shares your commitment to biblical marriage. The Scriptures warn us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB), for how can two walk together unless they are agreed? (Amos 3:3, WEB). Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33, WEB). We pray that the Lord will prepare you for this covenant, shaping your heart to be a selfless, loving, and faithful spouse. If you are not yet walking in purity, we urge you to flee from sexual immorality, for *"the body is ... for the Lord, and the Lord for the body"* (1 Corinthians 6:13, WEB). Any relationship outside of marriage—whether premarital sex, cohabitation, or emotional compromise—is fornication and dishonors God. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). Guard your heart and your body, trusting that the Lord’s timing is perfect.
We also sense a need to encourage you in the area of prayer. While you have come before the Lord with a heart full of requests, we gently remind you that prayer is not merely about presenting our needs but also about worshiping God for who He is, listening to His voice, and aligning our will with His. Jesus taught His disciples to pray, *"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:9-10, WEB). Spend time in His presence, not just speaking, but listening and surrendering. *"Be still, and know that I am God"* (Psalm 46:10, WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind you that the obstacles in your path are not insurmountable for the Lord. *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB). He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20, WEB). Trust in His perfect plan, even when the road seems unclear. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your face with a humble and contrite heart. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We ask that You forgive any sins they have committed, known or unknown, and cleanse them by the blood of Jesus. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and draw them deeper into Your Word so that they may know You more intimately.
Father, we pray for provision in their financial struggles. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10, WEB), and nothing is too difficult for You. Open doors of opportunity, provide wisdom in stewardship, and grant them peace that surpasses understanding as they trust in You. Remind them that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from Your mouth (Matthew 4:4, WEB).
We lift up their family before You, asking for healing and strength. Lord, be their shield and their exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1, WEB). Comfort them in their afflictions and bind up their wounds. May Your presence go before them, and may they find their rest in You alone.
Father, we pray for godly wisdom as they seek a spouse. Prepare them to be a husband or wife after Your own heart, rooted in purity and faith. Guard their heart from compromise and lead them to a believer who will walk beside them in faith, love, and obedience to Your Word. Let their courtship be honorable, their love patient, and their commitment unwavering, reflecting the covenant of marriage as You designed it.
Lord, we rebuked any spirit of distraction or doubt that would hinder their prayer life. Teach them to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17, WEB), to worship You in spirit and in truth, and to listen for Your still, small voice. May their prayers be aligned with Your will, and may they find joy in Your presence.
Finally, Father, we ask that You remove every obstacle in their path. Let them rise above every challenge, not by their own strength, but by Your mighty power. May they walk in the confidence that You who began a good work in them will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
We declare these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
