We join you in lifting up thanks to our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for our sins. It is through His name alone that we have access to the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged this truth in your prayer. Your gratitude for the sacrifice of Jesus is a beautiful reflection of a heart that understands the depth of God’s love, and we encourage you to continue to center your prayers in the name of Jesus, for it is written, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB).
We stand with you in this season of trial as your family faces the pain and injustice of fraud. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10, WEB), but we know that our God is a God of restoration and justice. He sees the fraud committed against your family, and He is not unaware of the distress it has caused. The Scripture assures us, *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Cling to this promise, for the Lord is your defender, and He will fight for you as you trust in Him.
The request for rest and peace resonates deeply with us, for we know that anxiety and sleeplessness can weigh heavily on the heart in times of trouble. Jesus invites you, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). We pray that you would cast every care upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB), and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
As you seek favor in your job and financial provision, we remind you of the words of our Lord: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Trust that the Lord is your provider, and He will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8, WEB). We pray that He would grant you wisdom and skill in your work, that you would be a light to those around you, and that your labor would be blessed abundantly. Remember also to honor the Lord with your substance and the first fruits of your increase, for *"honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine"* (Proverbs 3:9-10, WEB).
Finally, we exhort you to continue growing in your trust in the Lord, even when the path seems uncertain. Trust is not the absence of difficulty but the assurance that God is with you in it. As you walk through this valley, meditate on His faithfulness in the past and let it anchor your hope for the future. The psalmist declares, *"I have set Yahweh always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also rest in hope"* (Psalm 16:8-9, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is walking through a season of trial and uncertainty. Lord, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have redemption and access to Your throne. We ask that You would surround this family with Your peace, a peace that transcends all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we rebuke the works of the enemy in this situation. You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would expose every hidden thing, bring to light what has been done in darkness, and restore what has been stolen. Father, we pray for Your divine favor to rest upon this family as they navigate the aftermath of this fraud. Give them wisdom to know the steps to take, and provide for them in ways that only You can. Open doors of opportunity, Lord, and let Your financial blessing overflow in their lives.
We pray for rest—rest for their bodies, minds, and spirits. When sleep evades them, Lord, be their comfort and their song in the night. Remind them that You neither slumber nor sleep, and that You are watching over them with unwavering love.
Father, we ask for favor in their workplace. Let their labor be fruitful, and may they find joy in the work of their hands. Bless them with creativity, diligence, and excellence, and let their efforts be noticed and rewarded. May they be a testimony of Your goodness to those around them.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that their trust in You would grow deeper with each passing day. Help them to surrender their fears and anxieties to You, knowing that You hold their future. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives in undeniable ways.
We declare Your promises over them today: that You will never leave them nor forsake them, that You are their provider and their protector, and that You will turn this situation for their good and Your glory. May they walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for their good, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
