We join with you in lifting up this request before the Father, giving thanks for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the throne of grace. It is only by His name that we can approach God, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged Him in your prayer. Your gratitude for the sacrifice of Jesus is a beautiful reflection of a heart that understands the depth of God’s love, for *"God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB).
The fraud that has struck your family is a painful trial, but we encourage you to hold fast to the truth that our God is sovereign over all things, including the schemes of the enemy. He sees the injustice done, and He is a God who restores what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). We are reminded of the words in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Though this season is difficult, we pray that your trust in Him would deepen, knowing that He is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
As you seek favor in your job and financial provision, we declare over you the promise of Psalm 90:17, *"Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands."* The Lord is your provider, and He delights in blessing His children as they walk in obedience and faith. We also lift up your need for rest and peace, for Jesus Himself invites you, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30). May you experience the deep, supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is walking through a season of trial and uncertainty. Lord, we thank You for the cross, for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and gives us bold access to Your throne. We ask that You would surround this family with Your peace, a peace that transcends all understanding, as they navigate the aftermath of this fraud. Father, You are the God of justice, and we pray that You would expose every hidden thing, bring to light what has been done in darkness, and restore what has been stolen. Let Your favor rest upon them in their workplace, opening doors of opportunity and provision that only You can orchestrate. Give them wisdom to steward their resources well and to trust You completely in this season.
We pray for divine rest—rest for their bodies, minds, and spirits. May they sleep under the shadow of Your wings, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their shield, their very great reward (Genesis 15:1). Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to them but to all who witness their journey.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and discouragement in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that You, Lord, are their vindicator. May they walk in the confidence that You are fighting for them, even when they cannot see it.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this situation to draw them closer to You. May they emerge from this season with a deeper dependence on Your Word, a stronger testimony of Your provision, and a heart overflowing with gratitude for Your goodness. We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
