We join you in lifting up your heart to our Heavenly Father, who is faithful and just, and we thank Him for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who bore our sins upon the cross so that we might have eternal life. It is through His name alone that we come boldly before the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have acknowledged Him in your prayer. Your trust in God, even in the midst of trials, is a testament to your faith, and we encourage you to continue clinging to Him, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
The fraud that has struck your family is a painful burden, but we remind you of the words in Romans 8:28, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Though this situation may feel overwhelming, God is sovereign over all things, and He can turn even this hardship into an opportunity for His glory and your growth. He sees the injustice done to your family, and He is a God of restoration. In Exodus 22:7, we read, *"If a man delivers to his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it is stolen out of the man’s house, if the thief is found, he shall pay double."* While this verse speaks to earthly justice, we trust that God’s justice is perfect, and He will repay what has been stolen—whether through earthly means or heavenly reward.
We also lift up your request for favor in your job over these next few weeks. Remember the promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lean not on your own strength but on His, and He will guide your steps. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, but our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Do not let anxiety rule your heart; instead, cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
You have also asked for rest and peace, and we know that true rest is found in Christ alone. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* We pray that you will experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Rest in Him, for He is your Sabbath, and His yoke is easy, His burden light.
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing the weight of fraud and financial strain. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You expose every hidden thing and bring restoration to what has been stolen. Let Your favor surround this family like a shield, and may Your hand of provision be evident in their lives. We pray for supernatural favor in their workplace, that doors of opportunity would open, and that You would grant wisdom and strength for each task ahead.
Father, we ask that You would grant them rest—rest for their bodies, peace for their minds, and assurance for their hearts. Let them sleep under the shadow of Your wings, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep. You are their protector, their provider, and their peace. Remove all anxiety and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out fear.
We also pray for their trust in You to grow deeper through this trial. Let them see Your hand at work in ways they cannot deny, and may their faith be strengthened as they walk through this season. Remind them that You are with them, that You will never leave them nor forsake them, and that Your plans for them are good.
We rebuke the enemy’s attempts to steal, kill, and destroy in this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of fear, anxiety, and discouragement to flee. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your timing. May Your will be done in their lives, and may You receive all the glory. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. God is with you, and He is working all things together for your good. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not waver in your trust. We are praying with you and for you, believing that God will bring beauty from these ashes. If this trial has caused any bitterness or doubt to creep into your heart, we encourage you to release it to the Lord. Forgive those who have wronged your family, just as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Trust that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will repay. Walk in love, walk in faith, and watch as God moves mightily on your behalf.
