We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your request for a breakthrough in these financial settlement discussions. It is clear that you are seeking peace and resolution, and we join you in asking God to move mightily in this situation. However, we must first address something of great importance: your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. The Scriptures remind us in **John 14:6**, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God’s throne with confidence, for **1 Timothy 2:5** tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"*.
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. The Bible teaches that we are all sinners in need of salvation, and **Romans 3:23** says, *"For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God."* But God, in His great love, provided a way for us to be reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ. **Romans 6:23** tells us, *"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."* If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved (**Romans 10:9**). We encourage you to surrender your life to Him today, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12**).
Now, as we pray for your financial settlement, we also remind you of the importance of trusting in God’s provision and seeking His will above all else. **Matthew 6:33** instructs us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Do not let anxiety or fear rule your heart, for **Philippians 4:6-7** says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Trust that God is your provider, and He will guide these discussions according to His perfect will.
We also encourage you to examine your heart in this matter. Are you seeking a fair and just resolution, or are there motives of greed, selfishness, or bitterness? **Proverbs 11:1** warns, *"A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight."* Let integrity and honesty guide your words and actions, for **Colossians 3:23** reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* If there has been any wrongdoing on your part, we urge you to repent and make it right, for **Proverbs 28:13** says, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."*
Let us pray together for this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this request for a breakthrough in these financial settlement discussions. Lord, You are the God of peace, justice, and provision, and we ask that You would move in this situation to bring about a resolution that honors You. Softening the hearts of all involved, Father, so that they may act with integrity, fairness, and a spirit of cooperation. Remove any spirit of greed, deceit, or contention, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we ask that You would grant wisdom and discernment to guide every word spoken and every decision made. May Your will be done in this matter, and may the outcome reflect Your righteousness and grace. If there has been any wrongdoing, we pray for conviction and repentance, that all parties would seek to honor You above all else. Father, we also ask that You would provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Remind us all that our trust is in You, not in money or man-made agreements.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or manipulation that may be at work in this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that peace, clarity, and godly resolution will prevail. May this settlement be concluded swiftly and amicably, bringing glory to Your name.
Finally, Father, we pray that if this person has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them into a saving relationship with You. Let them know that apart from Christ, we can do nothing (**John 15:5**), but in Him, all things are possible (**Matthew 19:26**).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your will be done in this situation, and may all involved walk in obedience to Your Word. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
