We join together in lifting up your child to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He cares deeply for each of His children. College can be a time of great transition, growth, and challenge, but we trust that God will guide and strengthen your child as they seek Him in this new season. The Lord promises to be with us always, and He will not abandon them in this journey.
The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us encourage your child to lean on the Lord daily, seeking His wisdom in every decision and relationship. College can bring many distractions—worldly philosophies, temptations, and pressures—but we pray they will stand firm in their faith, remembering Colossians 2:8: *"Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ."*
We also pray that your child will find a community of believers on campus who will encourage and sharpen them spiritually. Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."* May they be a light in their dorm, classes, and social circles, pointing others to Christ through their words and actions.
Father, we ask that You surround this child with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). Give them discernment in their studies, friendships, and choices. Protect them from the snares of the enemy, whether it be anxiety, doubt, or moral compromise. Help them to manage their time wisely, balancing academics, rest, and spiritual growth. Remind them that their identity is found in You alone, not in grades, achievements, or the approval of others.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, loneliness, or confusion that may try to take hold of their heart. Instead, we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they walk in the confidence that they are *more than conquerors* through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
Lord, we also lift up their parents—grant them peace as they trust You with their child’s future. Help them to release any anxiety into Your hands, knowing that You hold their child’s steps. Thank You for Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray—**Amen.**

To you, dear parent, we encourage you to continue covering your child in prayer daily. Write scriptures over their life, speak blessings aloud, and remind them often of God’s faithfulness. If they haven’t already, encourage them to plug into a local church or campus ministry where they can grow in their walk with Christ. And if they face moments of doubt or struggle, remind them that Jesus is their firm foundation—*the same yesterday, today, and forever* (Hebrews 13:8).
Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord who began a good work in your child will complete it (Philippians 1:6). We are praying with you!
