We come before the Lord with you in this request for a breakthrough in your money settlement discussions, asking that His will be done in all things. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we must also remember that our trust is not in wealth or settlements but in the Lord Himself, who provides for His children according to His perfect wisdom.
We notice, however, that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*—and in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only by His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to place your full faith in Christ, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-10, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* There is no greater breakthrough than the eternal salvation found in Christ alone.
Now, lifting your need before the Lord, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this financial settlement. Lord, You are the God of peace, and we ask that You would guide every word spoken, every decision made, and every heart involved. Let Your wisdom prevail, and may all parties act with integrity, fairness, and a spirit of reconciliation. Remove any greed, deceit, or strife, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
If this settlement is Your will, Lord, we ask that You would bring it to a swift and just conclusion, that Your name may be glorified. But if there are lessons to be learned or areas where trust in You must grow, we pray for the strength and faith to endure. Help this dear one to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added as You see fit (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or desperation in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may this situation bring honor to Your name.
We also pray that if there has been any wrongdoing—whether in financial dealings, dishonesty, or ungodly motives—that conviction would come, leading to repentance and restoration. *"He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out."* (Proverbs 10:9).
Father, we ask for Your provision and favor, but more than that, we ask for a heart that is fully surrendered to You. Teach us all to be content in whatever circumstances we find ourselves, for we know that true riches are found in Christ alone (1 Timothy 6:6-8).
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word, trusting that He hears and will answer according to His perfect will. Let this time draw you closer to Him, for He is your provider, your peace, and your greatest treasure. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* (Psalm 37:4). Stay steadfast in faith, and may the Lord grant you His wisdom and discernment in all things.
