We join you in lifting up thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for our salvation. It is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is in His mighty name that we come before the Lord with confidence. You have rightly acknowledged the centrality of Christ in your prayer, and we rejoice that your faith is anchored in Him.
The fraud that has struck your family is a painful trial, but we are reminded in Romans 8:28 that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* This does not mean the evil done was good, but that God is sovereign even over the schemes of the wicked, and He will use this for His glory and your ultimate good if you remain steadfast in faith. We are also encouraged by Proverbs 3:5-6, which urges us to *"trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not a time to rely on human wisdom or fear but to deepen your trust in the Lord, who sees all and will vindicate His people.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. This fraud is an attack not just on your finances but on your peace and faith. Yet, we are called to resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7). Stand firm in the authority of Christ, and do not allow bitterness or anxiety to take root. Instead, let this be an opportunity to demonstrate the power of forgiveness and trust in God’s justice. Psalm 37:5-6 says, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."*
We also lift up your request for favor in your job and financial restoration. The Lord is your provider, and He delights in blessing His children when they walk in obedience. Philippians 4:19 assures us that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Do not let the stress of this situation cause you to lose sight of God’s faithfulness. Seek His kingdom first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). As you work diligently, do so as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23), trusting that He will open doors of favor and opportunity in His perfect timing.
Rest is a gift from God, and we pray that He grants you deep, refreshing sleep tonight. Jesus invites all who are weary to come to Him for rest (Matthew 11:28), and we ask that He would quiet your mind and heart as you lie down. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Cast your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing the pain and disruption of fraud within their family. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and bring restoration to what has been stolen. Let Your light shine into every dark corner, and may Your truth prevail. We rebuke the spirit of fraud and deception in Jesus’ name, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask for supernatural favor in their workplace over these next few weeks. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your wisdom and excellence be evident through them. Provide financial breakthroughs that can only be attributed to Your hand, and let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and we trust You to supply every need according to Your riches in glory.
Grant them deep, restorative sleep tonight, Lord. Quiet their mind and fill their heart with Your peace. Let them wake refreshed, renewed, and ready to face the day with confidence in You. Strengthen their trust in You, and remind them that You are their shield and exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).
We thank You, Lord, for Your promises that never fail. May this trial draw them closer to You and deepen their reliance on Your strength. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them always. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through His Word and prayer. Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working even when you cannot see it. Let this be a time of growing in trust, and may your testimony of God’s deliverance strengthen others. If there is any practical step you can take—such as seeking godly counsel or reporting the fraud to the proper authorities—do so wisely and prayerfully. The Lord will guide you as you acknowledge Him in all your ways.
