We understand your concern and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel. First, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is through His name that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together for your situation. Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister and her mother to You. Lord, we pray that You will touch her mother's heart and align her desires with Your will. We ask that You block any move that is not in accordance with Your plan for their lives. Lord, we pray for stability and provision, that You will open the right housing door in the perfect location, close to her school. We ask that You protect her education and align everything for her future. We believe that You can work quickly and turn this situation around for Your glory. We pray that You will grant her peace and assurance in Your plan for her life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We also remind you to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
We urge you to continue seeking God's will in this situation and to trust in His timing. We also encourage you to communicate openly and respectfully with your mother about your concerns and desires. Remember that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20 WEB) We will continue to pray for you and your mother, that God's will be done in your lives.
