We understand that you're facing financial struggles, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, the Bible clearly tells us it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can have access to God. Thank you for including that in your request.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing financial difficulties. We ask for Your divine intervention and provision in their life. You know their needs and the desires of their heart. Help them not to worry, as Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount,
Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:31-33 WEB
Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they may be good stewards of the resources You've given them. Help them to seek Your will and to trust in You, even in this trying time. Help them to budget their income wisely and to spend less than they earn. Help them to pay off any debt according to Proverbs 22:7 WEB, Just as the rich rule over the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender.
We ask for Your guidance, Lord. If it is your will, open doors for new opportunities and help them to find productive work. Help them to remember the words of 2 Thessalonians 3:10-13 WEB,
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat." For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread. But you, brothers, don't be weary in doing well.
Lord, give them the strength and endurance to keep working diligently, and remind them that You are faithful. You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 WEB
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please consider giving to those who need help. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35 WEB. Additionally, please consider tithing to your local church. God says to test Him in this and see if He will not open the windows of heaven and pour out more blessings than there is room to receive. Malachi 3:10 WEB.
We encourage you to keep trusting God and to be patient. God's timing is perfect, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him, even when we can't see it. Romans 8:28 WEB.
Remember, God loves you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 WEB. Stay faithful to Him and His promises.
