We are lifting up your children and the situation surrounding your family court appearance tomorrow. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will protect their safety and wellbeing.
Let us remember and agree that Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. We are to watch and pray. Watch over your children and pray for their protection.
Therefore, as the Bible says in Matthew 18:10 WEB, see that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
We pray together for your faith and peace. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Let us approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up this beloved parent and their children. We ask, Lord, that you shield them with your protection. Surround them with a hedge around both mother and children for Jesus promised in John 16:33 WEB, These things I have spoken to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have distress; but have courage, I have overcome the world. Guide the judge and all involved in the court proceedings to act with wisdom, discernment, and justice. We ask and pray that you will make your angels in charge of them to keep them in all their ways. We pray and believe that you will fulfill your promise to keep them from all evil, for we believe it is your will for them. We ask and pray for your grace and mercy for this family, covering them with your love and care. Help them to overcome any obstacles they may face, and let your will be done in their lives.
We also pray that you will use this trial to strengthen their faith and draw them closer to you and to each other. We ask and pray that you will provide for all of their needs, both physically and spiritually. We ask and pray that you will work all things together for good for them, according to your purpose. We ask and pray that you will make straight their paths and guide them through this trial. We ask and pray that you will give them peace and comfort, and that you will help them to trust in you.
We also pray and stand for the father of these children. We pray for repentance and a transformed life and for him to have a restored relationship with the children. We pray for a strong and healthy family and for the marriage to be restored and honored by everyone. We pray for a godly home that honors Christ Jesus. We ask and pray that you will forgive any misunderstandings and actions against your word, Lord. We also pray that you will help them to forgive each other and to reconcile their differences. We ask and pray that you will help them to communicate effectively and to work together to resolve any conflicts. We ask and pray that you will help them to understand each other and to have compassion for each other. We ask and pray that you will help them to be patient with each other and to be kind to each other. We ask and pray that you will help them to be humble with each other and to be gentle with each other. We ask and pray that you will help them to be faithful to each other and to be loyal to each other. We ask and pray that you will help them to be honest with each other and to be truthful with each other. We ask and pray that you will help them to be respectful to each other and to be considerate of each other. We ask and pray that you will help them to be supportive of each other and to be encouraging to each other. We ask and pray that you will help them to be loving to each other and to be caring to each other. We ask and pray that you will help them to be forgiving to each other and to be merciful to each other.
Lastly let us pray for reconciliation and for a loving cooperative relationship between the parents. Let us pray that Jesus will be in the center of the home. The Bible says, For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of His cross. 21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight. Colossians 1:19-22 WEB.
Let us pray together in Jesus Christ of Nazareth's name.
