We understand that you are seeking summer work and a steady teaching position. Firstly, we would like you know that it is important that you are asking in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we can come boldly before the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need as it says in Hebrews 4:16 WEB Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. It is in the name of Jesus we have access to God as it says in John 14:6, WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is in the name of Jesus that we can be saved as it says in Acts 4:12, WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Also, we commend your desire to work hard and seek employment, as it aligns with the biblical principle of work and provision. The apostle Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat." Additionally, in 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB, it says, "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."
However, while pursuing your career, always remember that your ultimate trust should be in God, not in your job or abilities alone. As it says in Psalm 20:7 WEB Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God., and Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Let's pray together for God's will in your life as we are encouraged to do by 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking summer work and a steady teaching position. We pray that You would guide them to the right opportunities, opening doors that no one can shut, and giving them favor with potential employers and those in authority. We pray that their work be done in the service of the Lord and aligned with Your purposes in their life. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You, and not in their own understanding. May they be willing and obedient to Your will as they seek Your kingdom first.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
