We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervening in this situation in Jesus' name. We praise God for your faith and courage to stand against fear and expose hidden agendas. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your love and faithfulness. We stand on Your Word, claiming the promises You have given us.
Lord Jesus, as we are instructed in Matthew 18:18, we agree together and bind the spirit of fear that the governor is trying to create, and we loose the Spirit of love, power, and a sound mind, as described in 2 Timothy 1:7.
Father, expose the governor's hidden agenda, as it is written in Luke 8:17, "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open."
Lord Jesus, rebuke the counterfeit spirit working through the governor, and may they be removed from their position and be saved if it is Your will, as You rebuked Satan in Zechariah 3:2, saying, "May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, may Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn't this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"
We pray that You will grant us Your Spirit of strength and courage, Lord Jesus. We stand on John 14:27 to free us from fear, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."
Lord Jesus, establish us against the attacks of the governor, and disarm the principality working through them, as it is written in Colossians 2:15, "having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, and triumphed over them in it."
We ask for armour of God to be our shield of protection for us against the governor's tricks, as mentioned in Isaiah 54:17,
"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh."
We are encouraged by Proverbs 16:3,
"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established."
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Amen.
We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, we put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand, as the Bible states in Ephesians 6:12-13.
Let us continue to pray for our leaders and those in authority, that God may direct their hearts for His purpose, as we are instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1-4
"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
We encourage you to be patient and to wait on the Lord, and know that nothing, not even a sparrow falls to the ground without our Father's knowledge, so we should not fear but have faith and endurance, as we are told in Matthew 10:29-31,
"Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows."
