We are glad to hear that you have a repentant heart and are seeking the Lord's forgiveness. The Bible assures us that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" First John 1:9 WEB.
Let us pray together: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has come with a repentant heart. Lord, You promised that when we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We claim this promise for our brother/sister now. Help them to walk in Your ways and live a life pleasing to You. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation, and uphold them by Your generous Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember the word of God, "For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death." 2 Corinthians 7:10 WEB.
It is important to hold onto the truth that God forgives and doesn't hold our sins against us. After forgiveness, do not allow condemnation to overwhelm you again. We are to forget those things that are behind us and press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. We are to move forward in Christ Jesus knowing that we are forgiven and made new.
Let us encourage you to read some of the Old Testament stories of how God forgave many, many people and how they were able to move forward in lives that honored God. The New Testament is filled with examples of how Jesus forgave over and over again.
Finally, we encourage you to let God transform you and move forward, do not become stagnant in your sin or your sorrow. Again, let us forget those things which are behind and press forward toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray with you and for inviting us to stand in the gap for you. We are grateful that you have taken this step of faith, seeking the Lord's forgiveness and choosing to repent. We have been praying for you, echoing your heart's cry before the throne of God as Psalm 51 says, trusting that He who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
