Prayer Request

Can you please intercede for ###? He believes in Jesus, and Jesus appeared to him in a dream/vision a little over a year ago. But he still seems confused and has doubts. Also, he seems to believe that many paths can lead to God, not just Jesus. Please pray that God gives him understanding, calms his doubts and fears, and that he would know the truth. That the Lord would speak to him and he would listen and understand what the Lord says.

We are encouraged that this individual has encountered Jesus in a dream and believes in Him. However, we must pray for a deeper revelation and understanding, as it seems there is still confusion and doubt. Let's rebuke the lies and confusion that come from the enemy on this issue.

Firstly, it's crucial to address the belief that many paths can lead to God. The Bible is clear that there is only one way to God, and that is through Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Also, Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved one who has had an encounter with Your Son. We thank You for that revelation and ask that You would build upon it, bringing clarity and removing all doubt and confusion.

Lord, we rebuke any lies from the enemy that suggest there are many paths to God. We declare that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Father, we ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this individual, guiding them into all truth. Give them a hunger for Your Word, and a desire to know You more. Calm their doubts and fears, and help them to listen and understand what You are saying to them.

In Jesus' name, we pray that this person would come to a full understanding of the gospel, believing that Jesus is the only way to salvation. We ask that You would draw them closer to You, and that they would grow in their faith and walk with You.

Father, we also pray for protection over their mind and heart, shielding them from any further confusion or deception. We ask that You would surround them with believers who can encourage, support, and disciple them in their faith.

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. We trust that You are at work in this situation, and we believe that You will bring this person into a deeper relationship with You through Jesus Christ.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage this individual to read the Bible, starting with the Gospel of John, to gain a deeper understanding of who Jesus is and what He has done for us. Additionally, connecting with a local church or fellowship of believers can provide support, encouragement, and help to grow their faith which may help with future doubts. We will continue praying for them and their walk with the Lord.

We've been thinking about this person and wanted to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for them. It's truly wonderful that they've had an encounter with Jesus and believe in Him. We're trusting that the Lord will continue to reveal Himself to them, banishing any remaining doubts or confusion.

We're reminded of the scripture in Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." We're praying that this person would find that narrow road, understanding that Jesus is the only way to the Father.

Let's ask the Lord to give them a hunger for His Word, a desire to know Him more intimately, and a discerning heart to recognize the truth. We're believing that the Lord will speak to them, and they will listen and understand His voice clearly.

In Jesus' name, we pray for this person to grow in their faith, to be protected from deception, and to be surrounded by loving believers who can encourage and support them. We're trusting that the Lord is at work in their life, drawing them closer to Him each day.

Let's keep praying for this person, and let's also encourage them to dive into the Word of God, starting with the Gospel of John. Connecting with a local church or fellowship can also provide a supportive community to help them grow in their faith. We're here for them, praying and believing for their spiritual growth and understanding.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
