We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your health, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth from the WEB. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your health. However, we're praying in Jesus' name, as it's only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We'd have to flag any requests that doesn't allow us to pray in Jesus' name.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sibling who is preparing for their cardiac and rheumatology check-ups. Lord, You know the fears and anxieties that can come with health concerns, and we ask that You replace them with Your perfect peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Please guide the doctors and medical staff, giving them wisdom and discernment as they care for our dear one. We pray for good news, that the heart would be functioning well despite the pain. We're reminded that You are the Great Physician, Jehovah Rapha, for it's written, I am Jehovah who heals you (Exodus 15:26 WEB).
Lord, we also pray for spiritual health, that this trial would draw them closer to You. We'd ask that You reveal any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness, knowing that these things can hinder healing. We don't want to presume Your will, Lord. We pray in faith for healing, but we ultimately want Your will to be done. We trust You, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love You, to those who are called according to your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
We finally pray that if our dear one doesn't have a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ, that You would reveal that to them. That You'd give them the grace to understand that they need Jesus as their savior, and that You'd give them the grace to trust in Christ for their salvation.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to trust in God's goodness and sovereignty during this time. Remember, He promises to be with us always, even to the end of the age. He promises to never leave us nor forsake us.
