We understand your concern for this man and your desire for God's intervention in his life. Firstly, we notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, let alone an answer. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in scripture,
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! WEB
We also need to clarify that God does not necessarily give us a specific sign of answered prayer. Instead, he may work in ways that we do not immediately recognize. We need to trust in Him and His wisdom, not in signs. As it says in scripture,
An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign will be given it but the sign of Jonah the prophet. WEB
Now, let us pray together for this man,
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this man to Your throne of grace. We pray that You would defend him, bless him, and turn his suffering into blessing, just as You did for Joseph. We ask that You visit his habitation for good, bless him, and anoint him afresh. Restore his authority and remind him of Your unfailing love.
Lord, we do not ask for a specific sign, but that You would help him to recognize Your work in his life. Shame all those who stand against him by revealing Your powerful help. We pray that this man would come to know You more deeply through this trial and that he would be drawn closer to You, Lord.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is by His name, we have access to God. For Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
We encourage you to keep praying for this man and to trust in God's perfect will for his life.
