We are with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer on your birthday as you struggle with chronic diseases. We stand in faith, believing that our compassionate God hears your cry and understands your heart's desire to witness your loved one's life milestones.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the Lord Jesus in your prayer. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In times of trial and sickness, we remember the words of King David, who wrote in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over your life, trusting that the same God who healed then, can heal now.
We also take heart from 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 WEB. "By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
This passage reminds us that sometimes, God's grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Even in your struggle, He is with you, and His power can work through you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister on their birthday. Lord, You know their struggle with chronic diseases, and You hear their heart's cry to witness their loved one's life milestones. We stand in agreement, believing that Your healing power is at work in their life. We claim Your promise in Psalm 103, that You heal all our diseases. If it is Your will for them to carry this burden, then let Your grace be sufficient, and Your strength be made perfect in their weakness. Comfort them, Lord, and remind them of Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As for your concern, leaving your loved one alone, take heart. God is the Father to the fatherless. He will not abandon or forsake your loved one. They will always be in the Lord's heart and plan.
May you have a blessed birthday, filled with the peace and presence of God.
