We join you in humbly coming before the throne of grace, acknowledging our need for God's forgiveness and guidance. As Scripture says, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23 WEB. We are grateful that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, acknowledging our sinfulness and seeking Your forgiveness. We thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, which made it possible for us to be forgiven and reconciled to You. We pray that You will guide us, keep us, watch over us, and protect us. May Your will be done in all areas of our lives, for Your glory and our good. We praise You, for You are great and Your mercy endures forever. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to walk in obedience to God's Word, for "this is love, that we walk according to his commandments" 2 John 1:6 WEB. Remember that "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" Psalm 119:105 WEB.
As believers, we are called to live holy lives, set apart for God's purposes. We are to flee from sin and pursue righteousness. As we submit to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us. James 4:7 WEB. Let us continually seek God's will for our lives, trusting that He will guide us and keep us until that great day when we will see Him face to face.
We are glad that the requestor specifically mentioned Jesus. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We must always remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As Scripture says "And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). But also "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' (Romans 10:13). Now calling on the name of the Lord requires specifically using that name. So we encourage everyone to always pray in the name of Jesus.
