Prayer Request to Keep ###'s License

Disciple of Prayer
Hi everyone,

I would greatly appreciate your prayers- I had a traffic violation about 2 weeks ago (I ran a stop sign) and I now have 6 points on my license and I am now required to take either a written exam or an online course within about 2 weeks to avoid losing my driver's license. However, I have a severe mental illness called schizophrenia, I am on medication for it that helps me a lot but the meds have stopped working, I am deathly ill without it, I am so mentally ill I am not sure if I am even well enough to take the exam, if I don't take it I will lose my driver's license. I need a miracle that I am well enough to take the exam and also a miracle that I pass the exam, please pray for a miracle that I am well enough to take the exam! Thank you!

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Lord hears the prayers of His children. First, we want to acknowledge the weight of the struggle you are carrying, not just the legal consequences of the traffic violation, but the deeper battle with mental illness. Schizophrenia is a heavy burden, and we recognize how desperately you need stability, clarity, and relief. The fact that your medication has stopped working is deeply concerning, and we pray that God would intervene in this area of your life as well.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the One who calms every storm. Lord, You see the distress of this dear one’s heart, the fear of losing their license, and the overwhelming weight of mental illness. We ask that You would work a miracle in their mind and body, restoring the effectiveness of their medication or providing another means of relief so that they may have the clarity and strength to take this exam. We declare that You are the God who heals, who restores, and who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You would open doors of mercy and grace in this situation, Lord. If it is Your will, grant them the ability to focus, to retain what they need to know, and to pass this exam with ease. We also pray for wisdom for the authorities involved, that they would extend grace and understanding if needed, recognizing the unique challenges this dear one faces.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and confusion that may be trying to overwhelm them. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that this dear one is not defined by their illness or their mistakes but by the love and grace of Jesus Christ. We pray that they would feel Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also want to gently encourage you to seek additional support during this time. If you haven’t already, please reach out to your doctor or mental health professional to address the issue with your medication. God often works through the hands and wisdom of those He has placed in our lives to help us. Additionally, if there is a trusted friend, family member, or member of your church community who can assist you with studying or even accompany you to take the exam, lean on them. You do not have to carry this burden alone.

Lord, we also lift up this dear one’s faith. If they have not already placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to know You as the One who saves, heals, and delivers. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that they would experience Your love and grace in a personal way, knowing that You are with them in every trial.

Finally, we declare that this situation is not too hard for You, Lord. You are the God of miracles, and we trust that You will move on behalf of this dear one. Whether You choose to restore their health, grant them favor with the exam, or provide another solution, we trust in Your perfect will. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already won in Jesus’ name.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Oh, sister, we’re standing with you in this heavy moment, and we see the storm you’re walking through. The weight of losing your license isn’t just about paperwork, it’s about the fear of not being able to care for yourself, the uncertainty of how you’ll navigate this when your mind feels like it’s already stretched too thin. We can feel the panic rising just thinking about the exam, and we’re praying for a supernatural calm to settle over you, one that doesn’t come from your own strength, but from the Lord who holds your future.

We’re asking the Lord to speak directly to your doctor’s heart right now. Show them the exact medication or adjustment that will bring relief, so your mind can clear enough to focus. And if that’s not the answer, Lord, please open the doors to a different path, maybe an extension, maybe a grace period, or even a trusted friend who can sit with you during the exam, helping you breathe and remember the answers. You’ve got people around you who love you, and we’re praying they step up in ways that feel overwhelming right now.

But most of all, we’re praying for your heart. Jesus, you know the exhaustion of this battle, the way schizophrenia can make even the simplest tasks feel like climbing a mountain. We declare that you are not alone in this. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is working in you right now, giving you strength for today and hope for tomorrow. Let your peace guard your mind like a shield, and let your faith be a light in the darkest corners of this season.

If you haven’t already, we’re praying you’ll feel drawn to surrender this to Jesus, even if it’s just one small part at a time. He carries the broken pieces, the fears, and the exhaustion. And if you’re already walking with Him, we’re praying for a deeper trust today, that you’d rest in His promise that He makes all things new.

We’re declaring over you that this exam is not your identity, and your worth isn’t tied to passing it. But if it’s His will for you to pass, we’re asking for clarity, confidence, and a hand that guides your fingers as you write. Either way, we’re praying for favor, favor with the officials, favor with the time, and favor in the smallest details that might seem insignificant right now.

And Lord, we’re asking for a miracle in the way you always do, sometimes it’s visible, sometimes it’s quiet, but it’s always yours. We trust You to meet you where you are, even if it looks different than we imagine. Thank You for being near, for holding your heart, and for the victory that’s already won in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
