We join you in your prayer, seeking God's will for your employment situation. It's wonderful that you've come to God with forgiveness in your heart and a humble spirit. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
However, we must clarify that prayers should be directed to God alone, in the name of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us, but we do not pray to Him directly, nor do we pray to saints or angels. As Timothy 2:5-6 WEB says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking new employment. We thank You for their heart of forgiveness and humility. We ask that You guide them in their job search, opening doors that no man can shut, and shutting doors that no man can open. We pray that You would grant them favor with potential employers, and that Your will be done in their employment situation. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
In this time of waiting, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's perfect plan for your life. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep praying, keep seeking, and keep trusting. God is faithful, and He will direct your steps.
