We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father God, we know that You see every injustice and every trial that Your children face. This brother has served faithfully for over a decade, and now his livelihood—and the well-being of his family—hangs in the balance. We declare that You are the God who opens doors no man can shut and shuts doors no man can open (Revelation 3:7). Lord, if it is Your will, we ask You to intervene in this termination and restore his position.
We rebuke the spirit of misunderstanding and division that has led to this decision. The Bible tells us, *"The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). We pray that You would soften the heart of the new leadership, that they would see this brother’s value and reconsider their decision. Father, we also ask that You provide wisdom and favor as he seeks resolution, whether through restoration or through new opportunities You have prepared.
We must also address the deeper need here—trust in God’s provision. While we pray for this job to be restored, we know that our ultimate security is not in employment, but in Christ. *"Do not be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33). We encourage this brother to place his hope in You, knowing that You will never abandon him.
Lord, we also lift up his family, especially his child’s education. We ask that You provide for every need and give peace in this storm. *"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved"* (Psalm 55:22). Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their Provider.
Finally, we must emphasize that our prayers are powerful only because of the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). If this brother has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we pray that he would do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the greatest need of all, and we pray he would find eternal security in Jesus.
We stand in agreement, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Whether through restoration or redirection, we trust You to work all things for good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
