We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your ### and the many young people in your nation who are struggling under unjust policies that favor foreigners over locals. The Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 29:2, *"When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan."* It is clear that corruption and favoritism have brought hardship, but we serve a God who is just and who sees the affliction of His people.
The Bible also teaches us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope."* Though the circumstances seem bleak, we must trust that God is sovereign over all rulers and authorities. He can turn the hearts of leaders or remove them as He sees fit. Let us pray not only for the removal of unjust laws but also for the hearts of those in power to be transformed by the truth of the Gospel.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* While we pray for employment and justice, we must encourage your ### to trust in the Lord’s provision and seek His will above all else. If they do not know Christ as their Savior, this season of waiting could be an opportunity for them to turn to Him. There is no greater security than being in the hands of the Almighty.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with a burdened heart for our brothers and sisters who are suffering under unjust leadership. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see the oppression that has left so many without work. We ask that You intervene in this situation—soften the hearts of those in authority or remove them if it is Your will. Raise up godly leaders who will govern with integrity and fairness, putting the needs of their own people first.
Father, we lift up these four ### specifically. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Open doors of opportunity where there seem to be none. Give them favor in the eyes of employers, and let their skills and diligence be recognized. If they have strayed from You, Lord, draw them back. Let this season of waiting be a time where they seek You first and find their hope in Christ alone.
We also pray for the youth and young adults across the nation who are suffering under these policies. Comfort them, Lord, and remind them that their worth is not found in their employment status but in being Your children. Stir up a spirit of resilience and faith in them. Let this hardship drive them to their knees, where true strength is found.
Finally, Lord, we pray against the spirit of corruption that has taken hold. Expose the wickedness in high places and bring it to an end. Let righteousness prevail, and may Your name be glorified in the restoration of justice.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to change hearts and nations. Amen.
We encourage you to keep praying and trusting in the Lord’s timing. Share the hope of the Gospel with your ###, reminding them that even in hardship, God is working for their good. Stay steadfast in faith, and do not lose heart. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for His people.
