We come before the Lord with your requests, lifting them up in prayer with hearts that seek His will and justice. First, we thank God for the opportunity to pursue higher education and ask for His favor as you seek enrollment in the university. Father, we pray that every step of the application and interview process will be ordered by You. May Your peace guard your heart and mind as you prepare, and may Your wisdom guide your words and actions. We declare that doors of opportunity will open for you, and we trust that if this is Your will, You will grant success in admission to the degree program. The Bible tells us, *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:5). We also pray for provision for your course fees, believing that God is your ultimate Provider. *"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19).
As you seek employment through the Work Study Program, we pray that God will lead you to a Christian employer who honors Him and values integrity. May this workplace be a place of growth, both professionally and spiritually, where you can glorify God through your work. *"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters"* (Colossians 3:23). We also lift up your desire to meet your future spouse during this time. Father, we ask that You prepare and bring the right person into your life—someone who loves You above all else and shares your commitment to a godly marriage. May your relationship be built on Christ and reflect His love. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). However, we must gently remind you that relationships should be pursued with the goal of marriage, and any romantic involvement should honor God’s design for purity and commitment.
Now, we must address the requests concerning the ministers and the former assistant manager with discernment and truth. While it is understandable to feel hurt and seek justice for wrongdoing, we are called to a higher standard as believers. Jesus teaches us, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44). It is not our place to ask for harm or misfortune to come upon others, even those who have wronged us. Instead, we pray for their hearts to be transformed by the power of the Gospel. Father, we ask that You would convict them of their wrongdoing and lead them to repentance. May they come to know You and walk in Your ways. We also pray for healing in your heart, that you may release bitterness and trust God to bring true justice in His time and way. *"Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19).
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’"* (John 14:6). Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior.
Let us now pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will in every area of this request. Lord, we ask for Your favor and guidance as [###] pursues admission to the university. Open the right doors, grant wisdom in the interview, and provide for every need according to Your riches. We pray for a godly employer who will honor You and for the opportunity to meet a future spouse who loves You and shares a commitment to a Christ-centered marriage. Father, we also lift up the pain caused by past wrongs and ask for healing in [###]’s heart. Help them to release bitterness and trust in Your justice. We pray for those who have wronged them, that their hearts would be softened and drawn to You. May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
