Prayer request that Christianity is a thing of the past

Faithful Servant
Prayer request that Christianity is a thing of the past now ### do what ### like in funemployment. No church and bible reading bye bye.

We are deeply grieved by your words, for they reveal a heart that is turning away from the truth of God’s Word and the eternal hope found only in Jesus Christ. The Scriptures warn us that in the last days, many will fall away from the faith, giving heed to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1). Yet we must speak the truth in love, for God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but desires that all would turn to Him and live (Ezekiel 18:23).

The Bible declares that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). His truth does not change with the times, nor does His authority diminish because the world rejects Him. You speak of Christianity as if it were a passing trend, but we tell you with all solemnity: the Word of God endures forever (1 Peter 1:25), and every knee will bow—either in worship or in judgment—before the Lord Jesus (Philippians 2:10-11).

To reject Christ is to reject life itself, for He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). The "funemployment" you speak of is a dangerous deception—a fleeting pleasure that leads only to emptiness and eternal separation from God. The apostle Paul warns that those who live for their own desires, rejecting God, will face His righteous wrath (Ephesians 5:5-6). Do not be deceived: God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will also reap (Galatians 6:7).

We plead with you to consider the gravity of your words. If you have once known the truth and are now turning from it, you are in greater danger than if you had never known it at all (2 Peter 2:20-22). The Lord is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Turn back to Him while there is still time! Confess your rebellion, ask for His forgiveness, and surrender your life to Jesus Christ, who alone can save you from the wrath to come.

We pray now with broken hearts for your soul:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with deep sorrow for this one who is walking away from Your truth. Lord, You know their heart, their struggles, and the lies they have believed. We ask that You would open their eyes to the emptiness of a life without You. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit of their need for Jesus Christ. Break the hardness of their heart and draw them back to the cross, where Your Son paid the price for their sin.

Father, remind them that apart from You, there is no true joy, no lasting peace, and no hope beyond the grave. Let them see the futility of chasing after the fleeting pleasures of this world, which only lead to destruction. Surround them with Your love, and let them encounter Your truth in a way they cannot deny. Bring godly believers into their life who will speak Your Word with boldness and compassion.

Lord, if they have ever truly known You, do not let them go. Pursue them relentlessly, as You pursued David, Peter, and so many others who strayed. Restore unto them the joy of Your salvation and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:12). Let them not be deceived by the enemy’s lies, but let them see Christianity for what it truly is: not a "thing of the past," but the eternal truth that holds the keys to life and death.

We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and deception that is at work here. Satan, you have no authority over this soul—Jesus has already claimed victory over sin and death! We command every stronghold of pride, apathy, and unbelief to be torn down in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Father, we ask that You would give this one a spirit of repentance. Let them fall on their knees before You, broken and contrite, and find mercy in Your presence. Do not let them harden their heart to the point of no return. In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray, Amen.

We urge you, friend: do not walk away from the only Source of true life. The world offers nothing but temporary distractions, but Jesus offers eternal life, forgiveness, and purpose. Turn back to Him today. "Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon" (Isaiah 55:6-7). The choice is yours—will you choose life or death? (Deuteronomy 30:19).

We understand that you're going through a tough time, feeling like Christianity is a thing of the past. We're here for you, and we want you to know that we care. We've all been there, feeling disillusioned and tempted to walk away. But remember, Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). He's not offering a fleeting pleasure, but an abundant, eternal life.

We're not writing to condemn or judge. Instead, we're pleading with you, as friends would, to reconsider. The world's attractions are just that - attractive, but temporary. They can't fill the void that only Jesus can. We've seen people chase after these things, only to find emptiness and regret.

Let's not forget, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). His love for you hasn't changed. He's still waiting with open arms, ready to forgive and restore. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

We're praying for you, that you'd find peace, joy, and hope again. That you'd see Christianity for what it truly is - a relationship with the living God, not a set of rules or a thing of the past. We're here if you want to talk, to listen, or to share. Let's walk this journey together, seeking Jesus, one step at a time.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for sharing your heart with us, even in this season of struggle and doubt. It is a privilege to lift you before the Lord, knowing that He sees the deepest parts of our hearts—even when our words feel heavy or uncertain. We have been praying earnestly that God would meet you right where you are, drawing you closer to Himself in ways that feel real and personal, not distant or outdated.

If the Lord has begun to shift your perspective, renew your faith, or remind you of His presence in unexpected ways, we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can give Him glory together. And if this season still feels dark or overwhelming, know that we are here to keep standing with you in prayer. You are not alone in this, and we would be honored to continue lifting you up—post your request again so we can persevere in prayer alongside you.

May the Lord open your eyes to His faithfulness in fresh ways, reminding you that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We are trusting Him to reveal Himself to you as the living God who never changes, even when our feelings or circumstances do. Keep seeking Him, even in the questions, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

We are praying for you in Jesus’ Name.
