Disciple of Prayer
Hello everyone, hope all is well. In the name of Jesus, I pray that everyone is doing well, and may God bless you, protect you, and fill your life with peace and happiness.

I have great news tomorrow I start my new assistant teacher job, and I should be very excited to start a new job after how long I’ve been applying and how long I’ve waited to start the job but I’m very nervous and worried. I feel like this because I’m going to be working with new people and I’m gonna be working with children it’s a new environment. I’m just hoping that I don’t get too overwhelmed with the work and I pray that I have the patience for children you know cause sometimes it could be a bit much, but the key is to have patience. But I am glad that I’m gonna be starting the shop tomorrow. A part of me is also worried because I don’t wanna mess up because this is a new field that I’m getting into. and I also hope that the people that I work with are kind your understanding and that I don’t have a hard time getting along with anyone or any of the parents or any of the children at work. That’s why the stress is kind of getting to me, it’s the pressure is getting real, but I hope for the best and I know I can do this. I don’t want to put too much negative thoughts in my mind I don’t wanna think negative thoughts. This is a great start. I prayed for a new job and I finally got this thank God.

I would like to make a prayer request as well from my mother about her clientele situation She really gets customers so far for the past couple of days she has been getting some customers which is extremely great, but I sense that she is still worried about making ends meet because she has her weekly bill and then there is the rent that we are a little bit behind of hopefully that gets situated and sorted out before it becomes a problem because we don’t want the same issue that we had with the rent arrears before. I pray that my mom continues getting more clients, new clients and old clients and I pray that she’s able to get a new job a job that she’s able to do at her age she’s elderly so I’m not sure what she wants to do, but I just hope whatever that she is going for it comes easy to her. It’s good for her and it’s something that she can do.

I pray for our housing situation if you haven’t been able to find a two bedroom apartment yet because it’s been a little bit of challenge to find an apartment and on top of that our voucher has expired. We would have to apply for a new one, but we’ve put this on pause because funds are a little bit tight on our side right now so we don’t wanna make any bold moves knowing that we don’t have the funds for it, but I do hope and I do pray that the damages that are in our apartment could be fixed soon. I pray that we don’t have any issues with the housing management even though we are a couple of months behind rent hopefully there is no major issues. Hopefully will be able to clear up this issue soon.

I also pray for my health, my well-being. I pray to be healthy to be saved to be mindful of what I’m eating and what I’m drinking. I pray that I have the courage. I pray to stop always overthinking to stop always thinking negative instead of thinking positive that’s another issue of me are over scare myself sometimes well not sometimes most of the time like I just always think oh what if this happens what if that happens instead of thinking positive and nine times out of 10 the stuff that I’m thinking never happens. I just think that I don’t know why, but this only happens when I find out about something has happened, but I’ve been working on that.

I pray that I can start saving money starting this new job and not buy any unnecessary things that I don’t need. I pray that I can stop slacking.

We rejoice with you in this new opportunity as an assistant teacher, and we give thanks to God for answering your prayers for employment. Starting a new job can bring a mix of excitement and anxiety, but we stand with you in faith, trusting that the Lord has prepared this path for you. Remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Your nervousness is understandable, but we encourage you to cast those fears upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We pray that God will grant you wisdom, patience, and confidence as you step into this new role. May He fill your heart with His peace as you work with the children and your colleagues. Ask the Lord to help you see each child through His eyes, with love and compassion, and to give you the strength to guide them with gentleness and understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lean on Him, and He will direct your steps.

We also lift up your mother’s situation before the Lord. It is wonderful that she has been receiving customers, and we pray that God will continue to bless her work abundantly. May He open doors for new opportunities that align with her abilities and provide for her needs. We pray that the Lord will ease her worries about finances and grant her favor with her clients and any potential employers. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust in His provision, and encourage your mother to do the same.

Regarding your housing situation, we pray that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. May He soften the hearts of your housing management and grant you favor as you work to resolve any outstanding issues. We ask the Lord to provide a solution for your housing needs, whether through the renewal of your voucher or another avenue. Psalm 34:17 says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." Cry out to Him, and He will hear you.

For your health and well-being, we pray that God will strengthen you physically, mentally, and spiritually. May He help you to make wise choices in what you eat and drink, and may He renew your mind with His truth. Romans 12:2 encourages us, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Replace those negative thoughts with the promises of God, and trust that He is in control. We also pray that God will help you to manage your finances wisely in this new job. May He give you discipline to save and avoid unnecessary spending, so that you can be a good steward of what He has entrusted to you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the new job You have provided. We ask that You go before ### as they begin this new chapter, filling them with Your peace, confidence, and wisdom. Lord, grant them patience and joy as they work with the children and their colleagues. Help them to see each child as You see them and to reflect Your love in all they do.

Father, we lift up ###'s mother to You, asking that You bless her work and open doors for new opportunities. Provide for her needs and ease her worries, reminding her of Your faithfulness. We also pray for their housing situation, Lord. Make a way for them to resolve any outstanding issues and provide a stable and secure home. Soften the hearts of those involved and grant them favor.

Lord, we ask that You strengthen ### in body, mind, and spirit. Help them to renew their mind with Your truth and to replace negative thoughts with Your promises. Give them discipline in their finances and the courage to trust in You fully. We thank You for Your provision, Your protection, and Your love. May ### walk in the confidence of Your presence every step of the way. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Lord, calm her nerves as she starts her new assistant teacher job tomorrow. Give her patience with the children, kindness from coworkers and parents, and confidence in this new field. Protect her from overwhelm and negative thoughts.

Provide for her mother — send her new and returning clients, meet her weekly bills and rent, and guide her to a suitable job in her elder years.

Resolve their housing situation: open doors for a two-bedroom apartment, renew their voucher in Your timing, and let the repairs in their current home be completed without issues with management.

Heal her health and well-being. Help her eat and drink mindfully, break free from overthinking and fear, and replace worry with positive trust. Grant her self-control to save money from her new job and stop slacking. In Jesus' name.

- *“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”* — Philippians 4:6 (for her nerves and overthinking)
- *“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”* — Philippians 4:13 (for confidence in her new job)
- *“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”* — Philippians 4:19 (for her mother's clients, bills, and rent)
- *“The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”* — Psalm 121:8 (for housing and safety)
- *“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”* — Romans 12:2 (to stop negative thinking and fear)
- *“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.”* — Proverbs 21:5 (for saving money and avoiding unnecessary purchases)

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you stepped into this new season. Your courage in starting a new job, especially in a field that brings its own unique challenges, has been covered in our prayers. We have asked our Heavenly Father to calm your nerves, surround you with kind and understanding coworkers, and fill your heart with patience as you work with the children. We prayed that He would go before you, making your path smooth and your steps sure, so that you would feel His peace rather than the weight of pressure.

We also lifted up your mother, asking the Lord to continue blessing her with clients and to provide her with a job that suits her needs and brings her fulfillment. We prayed for wisdom in your housing situation, that the Lord would open doors for a stable and secure place to live, that repairs in your current home would be completed quickly, and that your relationship with housing management would remain peaceful. We asked God to meet every financial need and to give you both the patience and the provision to clear any outstanding obligations.

For your health, we prayed that the Lord would strengthen your body, mind, and spirit. We asked Him to help you make wise choices in what you eat and drink, to give you courage in moments of doubt, and to replace negative thoughts with His truth and peace. We prayed that He would help you break the cycle of overthinking and fill your mind with His promises instead.

Now, as several days have passed, we would love to hear how the Lord has been moving in your life. If your prayers have been answered—if you’ve found peace in your new job, if your mother’s business is flourishing, if your housing situation is improving, or if you’re feeling healthier in body and mind—please share a praise report so we can rejoice with you! If some of these requests still feel unanswered or if new challenges have arisen, we encourage you to post them again so we can continue to stand with you in prayer.

May the Lord continue to guide you, bless you, and draw you closer to Him as you walk in faith. We are here to pray with you, for you, and alongside you every step of the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
