We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up each of these burdens before our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children. First, we must address the foundation of all our prayers—our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Without this, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.
Now, we lift up your physical needs with faith, knowing that our God is the Great Physician. For your gastrointestinal healing, we declare the words of Psalm 103:2-3 over you: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We pray that the Lord would touch your stomach, bring restoration, and strengthen your body. Father, we ask that You renew their strength like the eagle’s, that they may mount up with wings, run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Infuse their body with Your healing power and grant them the physical vitality they need to serve You.
We also stand against the temptations you and your brother face, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that the Lord would surround you and your brother with His hedge of protection. Father, we ask that You fill their hearts with Your Spirit, that they may walk in self-control and resist the schemes of the devil. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Strengthen them to stand firm in their faith and to flee from every appearance of evil.
For your home, we pray that the Lord would rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and stress. We declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would cleanse your home of any mold or impurities, both physically and spiritually. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we pray for restful sleep for you and your brother, that you may wake refreshed and renewed, ready to face each day with hope.
For your finances, we trust in the promise that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray that the Lord would open doors of provision and bless the work of your hands. May He grant you wisdom in managing what He entrusts to you and deliver you from any financial bondage.
For your stepmother and father, we intercede with urgency, for their salvation is of eternal significance. We pray that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened, that they may know the hope of God’s calling (Ephesians 1:18). Father, draw them to Yourself, soften their hearts, and let them experience Your love and healing. We declare that "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). May they come to know Christ as their Savior and Lord.
For your brother, we lift up his workplace, asking for divine protection and favor. We pray that the Lord would be a shield around him, that no harm would come near him (Psalm 91:10-11). Grant him favor with his supervisors and coworkers, and let his light shine before men, that they may see his good works and glorify Your name (Matthew 5:16). Father, we ask that You would guard his heart from anger and pride, and help him to surrender fully to You. Fill him with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May he walk in Your ways and overcome every temptation.
For your sister, we pray for deliverance from smoking and every chain of bondage. We declare that "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). Father, break every stronghold in her life, heal her physical condition, and draw her into a deep relationship with You. May she surrender her life fully to Jesus and experience the freedom that only He can give.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with all these requests, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask that You move mightily in each of these situations, bringing healing, protection, provision, and salvation. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and let Your will be done in every area of our lives. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
