Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your request and allowing us to pray for you and your sons. We have lifted you before the Lord and we continue to hold you in prayer.
We asked our heavenly Father, who knows what you need before you ask Him, to grant you His providence and daily provision according to His wisdom and goodness. We prayed that if it is His will, the support you depend on would continue, and that He would open right and honest ways for your needs to be met, and that you would see His caring hand in both small and great things.
Scripture teaches us to make provision for the needs of the body for health and strength, and not to kindle wanton desires, but to spend our chief labor on spiritual things. This present life passes like a dream, and true riches do not fade. So we also prayed that God would guard your heart from being weighed down with anxiety about money, and that He would give you contentment, wisdom in stewardship, and peace as you trust Him day by day. He does not always measure His providence by what we see in the present moment, but He calls us to wait with hope for what is to come and to seek first His kingdom, trusting that He will add what is needed.
Our prayer for you is this: Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, provide for this mother and her sons as You see best. Grant what is needed for food, shelter, and honest living, sustain the support that has been given, give wisdom to use all that is received faithfully, and work in ways that show Your mercy and power. Draw each one closer to Yourself, strengthen faith, and give peace that passes understanding. Grant that whatever You provide would be used for health, for the good of this family, and for Your glory. Amen.
We encourage you to keep bringing your needs to God with thanksgiving, to be diligent in what He has placed in your hands, and to rest in His faithful care. He hears the prayers of those who call on Him through Christ. May the Lord comfort you and your sons and guide you in every step.
