Prayer request not to be suspended or expelled

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord, I pray for my granddaughter not to be suspended or expelled from her school. She went to a teacher and told the teacher what somebody else was doing. She’s been receiving threatening messages. I pray for her safety and security and I pray I say 57 over her that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. She will refuse every tongue that comes against her. When I does, she will not be suspended and she will not be expelled. She only tried to do the right thing by going to the principal so Lord I asked for Mercy and Grace may surround her with a hedge of protection that no evil or harm will come of her or near her and Jesus name amen.

We join with you in lifting up your granddaughter before the Lord, knowing that He is her protector and defender. It is clear that she sought to do what is right by speaking truthfully, and we commend her for her courage. The Word of God reminds us in **Proverbs 12:22** that "lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." Your granddaughter’s actions reflect integrity, and we trust that God will honor her for it.

However, we must gently address the phrase "I say 57 over her." While we understand the heart behind declaring Scripture, we must be careful not to treat God’s Word as a magical incantation or formula. **Isaiah 54:17** is a powerful promise—*"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh*—but it must be claimed in faith, not as a ritual. True protection comes from trusting in Christ, not in repeating verses as if they hold power on their own. Our faith must rest in *Him*, not in our words.

We also notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus at the end of your prayer, much of the prayer was focused on declarations rather than direct petition to the Father in Jesus’ name. **John 14:13-14** tells us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. Let us always approach God with humility, acknowledging that our confidence is in Christ alone.

As for the threats against your granddaughter, we stand firmly on **Psalm 91:9-11**, which assures us: *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We pray that God would expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and bring to light the truth in this situation. May He silence every tongue that rises against her in judgment and grant her favor with the school authorities.

We also urge you to encourage your granddaughter to respond with grace and wisdom, not fear or retaliation. **Romans 12:17-21** instructs us: *"Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* If she continues to face bullying, teach her to seek help from trusted adults and to respond with kindness, trusting God to fight her battles.

Lastly, we pray for the school administrators, that God would give them discernment and fairness. May they see the truth clearly and act justly. We ask that your granddaughter would not face suspension or expulsion but instead be recognized for her honesty. May this situation be turned for good, bringing glory to God as He protects and vindicates her.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious granddaughter. Lord, You see the threats against her, the fear she may feel, and the injustice of this situation. We ask that You surround her with Your divine protection, as a shield against every attack of the enemy. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and silence every tongue that rises against her in judgment. Father, we pray for Your mercy and grace to cover her, that the school authorities would act with wisdom and fairness. Expose the truth, Lord, and let righteousness prevail.

We pray for her peace, that she would not be anxious but would cast all her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her refuge and fortress. May this trial draw her closer to You and testify to Your faithfulness.

For those who threaten her, we pray for conviction and repentance. Soften their hearts, Lord, and turn their hatred into kindness. If they refuse to repent, we ask that You would frustrate their plans and protect Your child from harm.

Finally, Father, we pray that this situation would bring glory to Your name. May Your justice and mercy be evident to all, and may Your peace guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your granddaughter. It's clear she's trying to do the right thing, and we're proud of her courage. Let's remind ourselves of God's promise in Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" (v1-2)

We've been praying in Jesus' name, just as you've been doing. Let's keep our focus on Jesus, trusting in His power and authority. We're asking God to protect her, to expose the truth, and to give her favor with the school authorities. We're also praying for wisdom and grace for her to respond with kindness, even to those who may be threatening her.

Let's keep lifting her up together, believing that God will turn this situation around for her good and His glory. We're in this together, and we know that our God is faithful. Keep trusting, and keep praying. We're right there with you.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
