We understand that you may feel disheartened, but we want to assure you that God cares deeply about every aspect of your life, including your desire for marriage. Let us remind you of the scripture that shows us God’s heart for our needs and desires:
"Don’t be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
It is important to remember that God's timing is perfect, and He has a plan for each of our lives.
"I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
Regarding whom you marry, it is crucial to seek a fellow Christian believer, as the Bible teaches us not to be unequally yoked:
"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and seeking His will for your life. As you do, take time to strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ. Spend time in prayer and in His word, and ask God to reveal His will to you in this area, so that you may be content in the Lord.
"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:" Psalm 37:4-5 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who desires marriage. We ask that You comfort him and remind him of Your unfailing love and care. Help him to trust in Your timing and to seek Your will above all else. Guide him to a Godly spouse who will support and encourage him in his faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep your hope in the Lord, and remember that He desires the best for you. Trust in His timing and His ways, knowing that He is faithful.
You did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. Hopefully you have already accepted Him as your Savior. If not, please consider that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. You must confess your sins, believe in Jesus Christ, ask for forgiveness of sins and surrender your life to God.
"because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB
