Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this request so honestly and for inviting prayer for God's righteous intervention in these long standing matters. We join you in bringing each of these petitions before the Lord and asking Him to act according to His wisdom, mercy and truth.
We recognize with you that true deliverance can only come by a divine work of God. In the law, the only way a person with leprosy could be made clean and restored to community was if God Himself healed him, and even then God had made provision for grace to operate. In the same way, no human effort can cleanse the heart, remove guilt, or open the way back into fellowship with God and others. Only Jesus has that divine prerogative. He alone has power on earth to forgive sins, and He knows the thoughts and reasonings of every heart. When you ask God to examine everything, including your own words and actions, and to distinguish what was done in ignorance from what was deliberate, you are asking the One who already perceives all things in His Spirit and who judges with perfect righteousness.
We pray that God will demonstrate His divine power over every power of darkness that has opposed His will for your life. Where there has been misunderstanding, opposition or deliberate wrong, we ask Him to expose what is false and to remove every genuine obstacle to what He has purposed. Where others have acted knowingly against what is right, we leave just judgment to Him, for He alone judges rightly. And where correction is needed in you, we pray you will receive His gracious correction, for His grace not only forgives but restores.
Concerning your petitions for deliverance, provision, marriage, the fulfillment of promises and the establishment of what God has truly appointed, we bring them to Him with trust in His character and His timing. It would be presumption for anyone to claim to know the exact day or hour of God's fulfillment, but we can trust that what God has truly promised He will fulfill. As God delivered His people from bondage through the sacrifice of the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world, so He is able to deliver you from every bondage of sin and bring you into the fullness of His purpose. That deliverance is the foundation for every other blessing.
For provision, we ask that God will supply what you need according to His riches and wisdom, not merely as we imagine prosperity, but as He knows is best for your good and His glory.
For marriage, we pray according to God's own design revealed in Scripture, that marriage is a covenant of one man and one woman who become one flesh, a profound unity that reflects something of His own nature as one God. If it is His will to establish marriage for you, we pray He will do so in His way, in purity and in covenant faithfulness, and that any relationship outside that design would not be affirmed or pursued. We pray that He will guard you from living together or sharing the intimacies that belong only within that covenant, and that He will prepare you and, if it is His will, a spouse for that holy union.
For promises and prophecies, we pray that God will confirm what is truly from Him and bring it to pass in His time, and that anything that is not from Him, or any false expectation, will be graciously exposed and set aside so that only His truth remains.
Above all we join your final petition, that God alone will receive the glory. May His righteousness, mercy and truth settle these matters. May His grace cleanse, His forgiveness restore, and His power establish what He has appointed for your life, so that your story testifies not to human vindication but to His divine work.
We are standing with you in prayer that the Lord, who is willing and able to make clean, will touch every part of this situation and accomplish His perfect will.
