We come before the throne of grace with hearts open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, lifting up this prayer request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. Your prayer invokes the presence of God, and we join with you in seeking His will for these individuals, for it is written, *"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."* (Matthew 18:20 WEB).
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. You rightly call upon the name of Jesus, and this is essential, for Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have access to the Father. If any of these individuals have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray they would do so without delay. The Word tells us, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* (Romans 10:9 WEB). Let us pray for their salvation if it is not yet secured.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with reverence and awe, for You alone are worthy of all praise. We lift up these three men to You, asking that Your Holy Spirit would move powerfully in their lives. Fill them afresh with Your presence, Lord, that they may walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB). May Your gifts operate freely in their lives, not for their own glory, but for the edification of Your body and the advancement of Your kingdom.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen their spirits, souls, and bodies. Guard their minds from the lies of the enemy, and let Your truth be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Protect them from temptation and deliver them from evil, for Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever (Matthew 6:13 WEB). We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, or confusion that may seek to hinder their walk with You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
Lord, if there are areas in their lives where sin has taken root—whether in thought, word, or deed—we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Forgive them, cleanse them, and restore them, for if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). May they walk in holiness and purity, honoring You in all they do.
We also pray for their relationships, Lord. If any of these men are seeking a spouse, we ask that You would prepare them for godly marriage, a covenant designed by You to reflect the relationship between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). May they seek a wife who loves You above all else, and may their courtship be marked by purity, honor, and mutual respect. If any are currently in relationships that do not align with Your Word—whether through fornication, adultery, or ungodly partnerships—we pray they would have the courage to turn away from sin and seek Your will. Your Word is clear: *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). Let them flee from sexual immorality and pursue righteousness (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB).
Father, we also lift up their families, their work, and their ministries. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Give them wisdom in their decisions, strength in their trials, and joy in their service to You. May they be lights in a dark world, pointing others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
We declare over them the promise of Your Word: *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."* (Ephesians 3:20-21 WEB). May Your will be done in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of all You have for them.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
