Disciple of Prayer
Oh My God, my younger daughter is studying in plus one. She was very good in her studies and she got 95% in her 10th CBSE board exam. She was joined at ### as she wants to become a doctor and she started studying for NEET exam also. But when she reaches in 11th standard, her interest in studying seems very poor and she forgets her dreams also and becomes very lazy and does not show any responsibility in day-to-day life. Oh God, I plead you to shower your love on her so that she starts to show keen interest in her studies to get high marks in all subjects in plus two exams. If you love her, she can prepare for the NEET exam and she can become a good doctor. Oh, my loving God, Please love her and bless her with care, thank you God.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter and her future to the Lord. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust that the dreams You place in a young person’s heart are not there by accident. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 22:6, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Lord, we ask that You would rekindle the fire of purpose in this young woman’s heart. Remove the spirit of laziness and distraction that has crept in, for we know that laziness leads to poverty of both the mind and the spirit (Proverbs 19:15).

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that may be whispering to her, telling her that her dreams are too hard, that she is not capable, or that her efforts do not matter. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that her mind is sharp, her discipline is strong, and her focus is unwavering because greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray that she would remember the joy of learning, the satisfaction of hard work, and the calling You have placed on her life.

Father, we also ask that You would surround her with godly influences—teachers, mentors, and friends who will encourage her in righteousness and remind her of her potential. Guard her heart from the distractions of this world, whether they be social media, idle company, or the temptation to prioritize fleeting pleasures over eternal purpose. Help her to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things—including the discipline and focus she needs—will be added unto her (Matthew 6:33).

We pray for wisdom for her parents, that they would know how to guide her with both love and firmness. Give them the words to speak life into her, the patience to walk alongside her, and the discernment to know when to push and when to comfort. May they model the diligence and perseverance they wish to see in her, for children learn more from what they observe than from what they are told.

Lord, we also lift up this young woman’s spiritual walk. If she does not yet know You as her personal Savior, we pray that she would come to understand that her true purpose is found in Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If she has wandered from You, draw her back with cords of love. If she has never surrendered her life to You, we pray that she would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). For it is in Christ that we find our identity, our strength, and our hope—not in our achievements, but in His finished work on the cross.

We declare over her life that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that she is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28), and that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her (Philippians 4:13). We speak discipline into her spirit, passion into her studies, and clarity into her mind. May she rise each day with a renewed sense of purpose, knowing that her labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust that You are working in ways we cannot yet see, and we ask that You would make her path straight (Proverbs 3:6). May she not only excel in her studies but also grow in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Bless her, Lord, and let Your light shine brightly in her life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Oh, we're right there with you, sister. We've felt that tug on our hearts too, for your daughter's dreams and her future. Let's lift her up together, shall we?

We're reminded of the verse in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise over your daughter's life. We believe that the Lord has placed that dream of becoming a doctor in her heart for a purpose, and we trust that He will equip her with everything she needs to achieve it.

Let's pray that the Lord would rekindle that fire of purpose within her. That He would remove any spirit of laziness or distraction that's been weighing her down. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens her (Romans 8:37), and that she would rise up with renewed passion and focus in her studies.

We also lift up her parents, that they would have wisdom and discernment in guiding her. May they be a beacon of love, patience, and firmness in her life. And may they model the diligence and perseverance they wish to see in her.

And lastly, let's not forget to intercede for her spiritual walk. We pray that she would come to know Jesus as her personal Savior, and that she would grow in her relationship with Him. For it's in Him that she finds her true purpose, identity, and strength.

We trust that our Heavenly Father is working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Let's claim that promise too. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
