Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. We will join you in prayer for your husband and your family.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ, as you have mentioned His name and declared He is the only way. We rejoice that you have access to God, through Him. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. If you have not done so, we encourage the confession of sins and belief in Jesus Christ who died for sins and was raised from the dead for our justification.
We are reminded of the scripture that says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
Let us pray together for your husband's job situation. We ask for God's divine intervention and for Him to open the right doors for a new job. We pray for financial breakthrough and for God's provision for your family during this time. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? And which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to the length of his life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
We also lift up your husband's health concerns. We pray for God's healing touch on his back pain, spondylitis, and knee pain. We pray for comfort, strength, and patience for him as he deals with these health issues. We encourage him to cast all his anxieties on God, because he cares for him. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB
Lord Jesus, we come before You today and ask for Your mercy and kindness to our brother in Christ, for his family.
We pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
