We understand that you have been unemployed for some time and are seeking prayer for a job in Jesus' name. We appreciate that you are looking to be a blessing to others with your talents. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written, "in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith. Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for you. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
However, we also want to remind you of the importance of not just seeking a job, but also seeking God's will for your life. "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2 WEB). Ensure that you are not merely looking for a job to meet your needs, but also to serve God and others.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has been unemployed. We ask that you open the doors of opportunity for him/her and guide him/her to a job that aligns with your will. Help him/her to use his/her talents to be a blessing to others and to glorify your name.
In the meantime, we pray that you will provide for his/her needs according to your riches in glory. Strengthen his/her faith and help him/her to trust in you completely.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for you as you navigate this season of unemployment. It's tough, we know, but remember, God sees you and He's got a plan. "For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7), so let's trust that He's working things out even when we can't see it.
