We lift up this heartfelt request before the throne of grace, joining our voices with yours in prayer for your daughter as she prepares for her engineering exam. Father God, we know that You are the giver of all wisdom and understanding, and we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon her in abundance. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Lord, we claim this promise for her—grant her clarity of mind, retention of knowledge, and peace that surpasses all understanding as she studies and takes this exam.
We also pray against the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm her. Scripture reminds us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Father, replace her fears with Your perfect peace, and let her rest in the assurance that You are with her every step of the way. Calm her heart, steady her nerves, and help her to trust in Your provision. Remind her that her worth and identity are not defined by this exam but by Your unchanging love for her.
Lord, we ask that You would go before her into that exam room. Soften the heart of her professor to be fair and compassionate, and let the questions reflect the material she has diligently studied. We declare that her efforts over these six years will not be in vain, and we pray that she would pass this exam and graduate according to Your will. Your Word says in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We commit her dreams, sacrifices, and hard work into Your hands, trusting that You will bring them to fruition in Your perfect timing.
We also want to encourage her to lean on You, not just in times of need, but as her daily source of strength. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Let her meditate on this truth and find her confidence in You alone. Father, we ask that You would draw her closer to Yourself through this season, deepening her faith and trust in You.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who intercedes for us and through whom we have access to Your throne. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
