We understand that you are facing an unfair dismissal and are seeking justice through a mediation process. We are here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that God is a god of justice. As it says, Blessed are they who maintain justice, who constantly do what is right Psalm 106:3 WEB. We can trust that God sees the injustice you are facing and cares about your situation.
However, we must also remember that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in man. Even if the mediator makes mistakes, or the court does not see the truth, God is still in control. As it says, 14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of God and of glory rests on you. 15 For let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil doer, or as a meddler in other men's matters. 16 But if you suffer as a Christian, don't be ashamed, but glorify God in this name. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don't obey the Good News of God 1 Peter 4:14-17 WEB.
We must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12 WEB. This is a spiritual battle, and we must fight it with spiritual weapons.
In light of this, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing an unfair dismissal. We pray that you would intervene in this situation and bring justice where there is injustice. We ask that you would guide the mediator, that they would correct any mistakes and present a clear picture of what has happened. We pray that the Executive Summary will be accurate and the truth will be plainly shown. We pray for the Employment Tribunal, that they would have wisdom and discernment, that they would judge impartially. We pray for the hearts of the employer, that they would be convicted of their wrongdoing, and that it does not escalate to a court hearing.
We pray that our brother/sister would maintain their testimony, that they would not be ashamed, but glorify God in the name of Christ. Yet we also pray that your will be done, Father. If it is your will that this situation not be resolved in the way we hope, we pray that our brother/sister would have the strength and faith to endure, that they would trust in you no matter what.
We also pray for the salvation of those involved in this injustice. It is not your desire that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9.
Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, we believe that you became man, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and arose from the dead. We believe that you are the only way to heaven and it is only by your name that we can be saved. So we pray for the salvation of the employer, the mediator, and the judges. Convict them of their sin, show them their need for a savior. And as they see the testimony of your child which they will see in our brother/sister, we pray that they would come to believe with their heart that you are Lord, and that they would be saved. Romans 10:9.
We ask all these things in accordance with your will, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and just. He sees the injustice you are facing and he cares. Trust in him, no matter the outcome. And remember the words of Jesus, Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven Matthew 5:10 WEB.
