We understand that you are facing an unfair dismissal situation and you are seeking prayer as you approach mediation. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign and cares about every detail of our lives, including our work and struggles. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
In all circumstances, we are called to seek God's will and act with integrity. Romans 12:18 says, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." This includes our employers and those who may have wronged us.
However, it is important to address the issue that this prayer request does not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." I Timothy 2:5 WEB
We also want to remind you that it is only by grace through faith we can be saved from our sins and have a right relationship with God. It is Jesus Christ that allows us to have access to God and have eternal life. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Acts 4:12 says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" WEB
When you go through difficulties such as unfair dismissal, remember that God is your provider and protector. Psalm 55:22 says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Trust in Him to guide you through this process.
As you prepare for mediation, pray that God's will be done. It is important to seek fairness, but also to trust that God's plan is ultimately for your good, even if it doesn't align with your immediate desires. We pray that your heart would be open to God's leading and that you would find peace in His sovereignty.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing an unfair dismissal. We ask, Lord, that You would guide them through this mediation process. Help them to speak with wisdom and grace, and to seek Your will above all else.
We pray that the mediation would be successful, and that a fair resolution would be reached without the need for a court hearing. We ask that You would soften the hearts of the employers, and that they would act with integrity and fairness.
Help our brother/sister to trust in You, to cast their anxieties on You, and to find peace in Your sovereignty. Remind them that Your plan is ultimately for their good, even if it doesn't align with their immediate desires.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God's Word, to pray continually, and to trust in His unfailing love for you. Remember that He is your strength and your shield, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
