We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where injustice and ungodliness have taken root. Father, we know that You see all things and that nothing is hidden from Your sight. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 15:3, "The Lord’s eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good." We ask that You expose any darkness and bring truth to light in this matter.
Lord, we pray for the removal of this individual who has forced others into unlawful actions. Scripture is clear that those who lead others astray will face consequences, as Jesus Himself warned in Matthew 18:6, "but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea." We ask that You intervene in this situation, removing him from his position of influence where he has misused his authority.
We also lift up the contractor who was pressured into wrongdoing. Father, we pray for conviction and repentance in his heart. If he acted out of fear or ignorance, we ask that You grant him the courage to stand firm in righteousness moving forward. Proverbs 29:25 reminds us, "The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the Lord is kept safe." May he find strength in You alone.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of corruption and deceit that has taken hold in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, as Isaiah 54:17 assures us. We pray that this individual would not find another position where he can continue in such ungodly behavior, but instead, that You would bring him to a place of repentance and transformation. If he remains unrepentant, we trust in Your justice, for Romans 12:19 tells us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Father, we also pray for those who may have been harmed or affected by these actions. Bring healing, restoration, and wisdom to navigate this situation according to Your will. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your kingdom come in this circumstance.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You and the only name by which we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect justice, Lord. Amen.
