We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that all involved in this matter would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Heavenly Father, we lift up the reporters who are bravely bringing the truth to light. We ask that You protect them from all harm, both physically and spiritually. We rebuke any principalities and powers that seek to silence them or bring them down. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We pray that You would surround these reporters with Your angels and grant them courage and wisdom as they continue to do their work.
Lord, we also pray for the judge presiding over this case. We ask that You grant them wisdom and discernment to see the truth and make a just decision. Proverbs 2:6-8 says, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity; that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints."
We pray that the minister involved in this lawsuit would be exposed for any wrongdoing and that justice would prevail. We ask that You would humble their heart and bring them to repentance if they have misused taxpayer money or acted unjustly. Proverbs 16:18 warns, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." We pray that this lawsuit would serve as a wake-up call and that they would turn from their ways.
Father, we also pray for the people who are suffering due to the misuse of funds. We ask that You provide for their needs and bring relief to their situations. Psalm 34:18-19 assures us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."
We declare that the truth will prevail and that justice will be served. We stand on Your promise in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,' says Yahweh."
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
