We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this legal battle and asking for His divine intervention. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice, and Your Word declares in Deuteronomy 32:4, "The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he." We ask that You would bring forth truth and righteousness in this lawsuit, that the scales of justice would be balanced according to Your will.
Lord, we pray specifically for ###, that You would grant them favor in the eyes of the court and that their cause would be just and pleasing in Your sight. We rebuke the plans of the enemy and any wicked intentions that may be at work in this situation. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We ask that You would turn the hearts of those presiding over this case to rule in favor of what is right and just.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for all those involved in this legal process. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." May those making decisions seek Your wisdom above all else.
Father, we know that You are our ultimate defender and that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). We trust in Your sovereignty and ask that this lawsuit would be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name. If it is Your will, we pray for victory for ###, not for their sake alone, but so that Your justice would prevail and Your name would be exalted.
We also lift up the individuals involved in this case, including the minister mentioned. If there is unrepentant sin or wickedness in their heart, we pray that You would convict them and draw them to repentance. Ezekiel 18:23 says, "Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? says the Lord Yahweh; and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?" May Your mercy and grace be poured out on all who are involved.
Lord, we ask that You would guard the hearts and minds of those connected to this lawsuit, that they would not be overwhelmed by anxiety or fear. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We trust in You, Lord, and we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. Amen.
