Prayer request for son and daughter in law to conceive

Our son and daughter in law have been trying to conceive for the last year after losing their precious baby boy in utero. They have made all the changes suggested in their home, with their diets and have sought the best medical doctors. Please join us in praying for their miracle family to be conceived. They are faithful followers and will raise their family in God’s church as faithful followers as well.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious couple who have endured the deep sorrow of loss and now carry the longing for new life. Father God, You are the Author of life, the One who knits babies together in their mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139:13-14), and we trust in Your perfect timing and sovereign plan. We ask that You would open the womb of this daughter-in-law, Lord, and grant them the joy of conception according to Your will. Heal any lingering grief in their hearts, replacing it with peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7), and strengthen their faith as they wait upon You.

We pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved, that You would guide their hands and minds to uncover any hidden obstacles and provide solutions that align with Your purposes. May this couple continue to seek You above all else, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We also ask that You would surround them with a community of believers who will uphold them in prayer, encourage them in their faith, and remind them of Your promises.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may try to take root in their hearts. Your Word declares that hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life (Proverbs 13:12). We declare that their hope is in You alone, and we stand on the promise that those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy (Psalm 126:5). May they continue to walk in obedience to Your Word, honoring You in their marriage and in their pursuit of parenthood.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Giver of life and the One who conquered death. Through His name, we have access to Your throne, and it is by His blood that we are made whole. If there are any areas in their lives where they have not fully surrendered to You, Lord, we ask that You would reveal them and draw them closer to Your heart. May they find their strength and hope in You alone, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friends, lifting up your daughter and son-in-law before our Heavenly Father. We've been where you are, the longing for a child, the heartache of loss, and the hope that springs eternal. We're claiming Psalm 30:5 over them, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." We're asking the Lord to grant them the desire of their hearts, to open the womb, and to fill it with new life, according to His will and perfect timing.

We're also praying for peace and healing in their hearts, that the Lord would bind up their broken places and replace sorrow with joy. We're asking for wisdom for their doctors, that God would guide their hands and minds, and for the couple to continue to seek Him, trusting in His plan and purpose.

Let's surround them with love and encouragement, dear community. Let's be their cheerleaders, reminding them of God's promises and His unfailing love. Let's stand together in faith, believing for their miracle, and let's celebrate with them when that baby comes, for we know that with God, nothing is impossible.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
