We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for this school district.
We have continued to lift up before the Lord the situation you shared, especially the two former staff members who desire to be rehired as subs or in other positions in different schools, and the toxic atmosphere that has developed around staffing decisions. We have been praying for the paraprofessionals who feel marked and labeled as not to be rehired, for those who are afraid to speak up for fear of retaliation and for the district turning against them, and for those who have had hours taken away and whose job duties no longer match what they signed up for and what is in their contract.
We have also been interceding for the special education department and for the teachers and administrators who have taken over roles that were once for paras, that God would bring conviction, transparency and a spirit of unity instead of strife, for where there is strife there is confusion and every evil work as taught in James 3:16. We pray that the fear of man which brings a snare as in Prov 29:25 would be broken, and that God would give courage and protection to all staff to speak truth in love.
We pray in Jesus Name for the Lord to bring justice and integrity to this district, to restore what has been taken, to honor contracts, to heal the culture in the schools, and to let all who work there be treated with dignity and fairness. We pray for wisdom for leadership and for peace for every para and teacher who is weary from this ongoing issue.
If your request has been answered and there has been change in the district or open doors for those seeking to be rehired, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and the toxicity and fear remain, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We continue to stand with you in prayer in Jesus Name, Amen.
