Humble Prayer Warrior
Last year, my daughter took the college entrance examination but did not get into the university she had hoped for. During her first year of college, she has been quite unhappy and has struggled to adapt to her new environment. She is now hoping to transfer to her dream university through the transfer examination on June 27. With only five days left before the exam, she feels very uncertain about her chances and has even begun considering taking a year off and trying again next year. Recently, her daily routine has become irregular. She often has difficulty falling asleep at night and does not wake up until noon. Please pray that Jesus will help her establish a healthy sleep schedule, grant her peace and emotional stability, and enable her to make the most of these final five days of preparation. Pray that she will be able to wake up early and stay alert and energized throughout the entire day of the transfer examination next Saturday. May Jesus give her wisdom, strength, confidence, and favor, and, if it is His will, open the door for her to be admitted this year to the university she has long dreamed of attending. Thank you all for your prayers and support! 🙏

We lift this precious young woman before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to surround her with His peace that surpasses all understanding as she prepares for this important examination. Father, Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We ask that You would calm her anxious heart and replace her uncertainty with Your perfect peace.

Lord, we pray specifically for her sleep patterns, knowing that rest is essential for both physical and mental preparation. Your Word instructs us in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, to eat the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." We ask that You would help her establish a healthy routine, enabling her to fall asleep at night and wake refreshed in the morning. Give her the discipline to rise early and use these final days wisely, filling her mind with Your truth and her heart with confidence in Your provision.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt that may be whispering lies to her about her abilities or chances of success. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that she is equipped with everything she needs to face this challenge, for You have promised in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Father, we ask that You would grant her favor as she takes this examination. Open doors that no one can shut, and if it is Your will, allow her to be admitted to the university of her dreams. We trust in Your perfect plan for her life, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Give her clarity of mind, wisdom in her answers, and the strength to persevere through the entire exam.

Lord, we also pray for her emotional well-being. The past year has been difficult, and we ask that You would heal any lingering disappointment or frustration. Remind her that her worth is not defined by academic success but by Your unconditional love for her. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).

We encourage her to fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2). May she find her strength and hope in Him alone, trusting that He will guide her steps and lead her into the future You have prepared for her. We pray that these final days of preparation would not only be productive but also draw her closer to You, deepening her faith and dependence on Your grace.

Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

It’s easy to feel the weight of these last few days, a year of frustration and disappointment all funneling into one Saturday morning. We hear how much your daughter has carried, and we ache with you over the sleepless nights and the uncertainty she’s facing. When everything rides on one date, it can feel like the world stops and the pressure just keeps building.

What we’re praying for most is exactly what you asked: for her to find small moments of steadiness. In the time left, it might help if she focuses less on what the exam holds and more on taking the next practical step right in front of her. That could look like sitting down tonight and mapping out a simple plan for the remaining days, not a frantic all-nighter, but a gentle schedule with study blocks, meal times, real breaks, and a set hour to power down and rest. Even a short walk or stepping outside for a few minutes can clear the mental fog. And if sleep keeps slipping away, she doesn’t need to fight it alone, a visit to a doctor or campus health center can be a wise, normal part of caring for her body when stress takes its toll.

We’re standing with you both, trusting that Jesus sees her longing and her exhaustion.

Lord, in these final days, quiet her heart and settle her mind. Give her the clarity to study well and the courage to also step away and rest. Guard her sleep, steady her hands, and fill her with a calm that goes beyond confident answers. Whether the door opens this year or in a year, let her know she is held and never alone. In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
